The Salvation Army has partnered with the Minnesota Vikings and the Adam Thielen Foundation to help fight hunger and empower youth in the Twin Cities community. vikings social justice committee donates to local nonprofits In June, the Minnesota Vikings and the Wilf family announced a $5 million donation to social justice causes, with $1 million of that reserved to be allocated by the team’s Social Justice Committee. Earlier this month, the Vikings Social Justice Committee and Anthony Barr made a $30,000 donation to the Jeremiah Program. The Minneapolis nonprofit’s mission is to end the cycle of poverty for single mothers and their children two-generations at a time.Barr made a surprise “drop-in” to the Jeremiah Program’s Virtual Bullfrog Bash fundraiser to announce the donations.

On Tuesday, September 22, Eric Kendricks surprised All Square employees with an oversized check for $250,000 to the Minneapolis- based nonprofit social enterprise that is located on Minnehaha Avenue The donation will directly impact All Square’s Fellow & Fellow Alum Fund, which supports formerly incarcerated individuals in their efforts to rejoin society. All Square is a local nonprofit social enterprise that invests in the minds and lives of formerly incarcerated individuals. Centered on a craft grilled cheese restaurant, professional development institute, and forthcoming civil rights law firm, All Square’s mission is to ensure that those impacted by the criminal justice system have the support and opportunities they deserve to become our country’s future leaders, business owners, legal practitioners and entrepreneurs.
