For more information on the charity please visit their website: Exercise Your Way to a Stronger You Everybody knows that outdoor exercise is a fantastic opportunity to boost and maintain positive mental and physical wellbeing. However, recent research suggests that 9 out of 10 women lack the confidence to engage in outdoor activity. This means that 90% of the women that come to the Fitness Divas classes initially felt like this. However they have succeeded in putting any such inhibitions to one side and are now reaping the benefits of energising outdoor exercise in a fun and enjoyable group atmosphere. I know that the Fitness Divas classes have helped a lot of women start to feel great about themselves in all sorts of ways. Exercising in the outdoors re-energises your body and mind and hopefully at some point will provide you with your Vitamin D! You work at your own pace and to whatever level you feel comfortable with. There are no routines to follow just a chance to raise your heart rate, tone up your muscles and have fun. Classes are £5 and take place behind Broughton Village Hall: Monday – 9.30am Wednesday – 9.30am (running class) 10.00am (beginners running class) Friday – 9.30am For further information, call Kirsty on 01794 301152 or email [email protected] 34

The Minister has the last word Dear Friends, We seem to have been so busy in May and June, saying goodbye to Rob and Rosemary, welcoming Jonathan, Pentecost, Jubilee and so on that it seems July will be quite ordinary, an almost welcome return to normality. That is until we stop and ask ourselves what is normal? I am often asked to give talks on being normal as if I am some sort of expert on normality!! In fact I am quite interested in the aspects of statistics that define normality and how the definition is understood. I read in a paper the other day that a recent survey showed that 60% of Brits believe in miracles, whereas another 15% said they were unsure. Only 25% of those questioned refuted miracles completely. This means it is normal to be- lieve in miracles, or does it ? Another survey found that only 38% of Brits believe in God. So it looks as if another survey needs to be done to find out to whom or to what they attribute the miracles? Do you believe in miracles? I asked myself the question and of course one likes to be considered normal. In fact I do believe they are possible but there is a lot I need to qualify about my belief, a lot I still need to think about and a lot more I need to learn. Many folk have said they would like more meetings like the ones we had in Lent to explore and learn more about our faith. I would like to see if others feel the same? I do hope you all have a restful, ordinary and normal July if this is what you want or need but if you want some more excitement and joyful celebration then I hope this comes your way!

Yours in the service of Christ,
