The house is situated to the north of Sancreed village in a lovely sylvan setting and comprises a three bedroomed detached house, a detached garage with workshop/studio above and further attached granite single storey building which is currently used as a workshop and storage area.

3 Ref: LCAA8539 The house is accessed off a country lane and has 3-4 car parking in front of the garaging. Access to the house is either via the garage or through a gate to the side which opens into the gardens and provides a lovely entrance and initial impression of the house.

There is a spacious entrance porch which opens into the main reception room which is particularly spacious and will originally have been two rooms. There are small paned sash windows overlooking the gardens to the front, a window to the side and two large fireplaces at either end of the room. One is currently used and houses a multi fuel stove the other one has not been in use for some time. From the dining area of this reception room steps lead down into the kitchen which is of a good size and has an outlook over the front garden. Off this room is a utility room and separate cloakroom with wc. To one end of the kitchen a doorway opens into the conservatory which has an outlook to the front and side of the house and access onto the broad sun terrace running the length of the house.

From the main reception room there is a staircase which leads up to the landing. The principal bedroom is to one end of the house and has views over the gardens to the front and side. There is a good sized en-suite bath/shower room and dressing area.

There are two further bedrooms to the front of the house both enjoying an outlook over the gardens and served by a family shower room/wc.

To one side of the house and approached either by a doorway to the side or via the up-and- over electric door to the front is the double garage which has the benefit of a workshop/studio to the first floor. This is a very useful space with Velux windows and a lovely outlook over the gardens.

4 Ref: LCAA8539 Attached to the garage at ground floor level is a single storey granite outbuilding/workshop which has windows and door to the front as well as a doorway to the side and into the garden.

It is our belief that any prospective purchaser will look to update and upgrade the kitchen and bath/shower rooms and there is further opportunity to extend and remodel the main house and its outbuildings, subject to making the necessary enquiries and obtaining the requisite consents.

Ennis Cottage is set in delightful mature gardens facing south and extending to just over ⅓ of an acre. There is a wealth of interest and variety in the gardens including vegetable beds, mature beds and borders with some lovely traditional stone walling detail.

Immediately to the front of the house is a broad sun terrace which is an absolute delight from which to enjoy the sunny southerly aspect. From this is a broad expanse of lawn and this is the perfect space to enjoy family gatherings, barbecues and take in the world of colour and interest that the garden enjoys.
