The meeting was called to order by Chairperson at 3:30 pm on Monday, February 05, 2018, in room 582-N of the Capitol.

Bill introductions The Chair asked if there were any bill introductions.

Representative , 51st District, moved to introduce legislation concerning egg packaging, RS# 3097. The motion was seconded by Representative Lewis. The motion was approved by voice vote.

Mike Beam, Sr. Vice President, Kansas Livestock Association, requested introduction of a bill concerning transfer of deer tags, RS# 3128.

Representative Seiwert moved to accept the introduction. The motion was seconded by Representative Ellis. The motion was approved by voice vote.

Presentation on: The Chair welcomed the presenters to the Committee. He explained the time limits and procedures for this presentation.

The presenters spoke on their experience with or feelings concerning Dicamba herbicide and its use in agriculture. The manufacturers and the Kansas Department of Agriculture covered current use requirements and limitations.

Jackie Keller stood in place of Jack Geiger, Owner, Geiger Grain/Alba Ranch, who was not present at the beginning of the presentations (Attachment 2). Ms Keller read Mr Geiger's presentation verbatim. Mr Geiger arrived later and made a short statement.
