VedicAstrological Series PREDICTIUEf,STROIOGY by M.N.KEDAR Publishedby BharatiyaPrachya Evam Sanatan Vigyan Sansthan PREFACE /\ strologyis a divinescience which enablesus to ll\peep into the future. The Vedic Astrology(most commonlyknown as Hindu System of Astrology) generallyunderstood the scienceconnected with Horoscopereading, Palmistry, Horary, Varshaphala, Mundane,MeteorologY etc. The horoscopedepicts a pictureof the results of the Karmas done by the native in his past births (knownas SanchitKarmas), which are generally calledBhagya. Bhagyais only the accumulatedbalance of 'Karma Phrala'availablein the presentbirth, out of the SanchitKarmas. When a Karma is done there will be its result, which is mustto be enjoyed/suffered by the native. The Karmas done by a Personcan be easily groupedinto the followingthree groups :- (i) sANcHlT KARMAS (ii)PRARABDHA KARMAS (iii)KRIYAMAN OR AGAMIKARMAS The horoscopeshows SanchitaKarma i'e' the bafance of fruitsof the karmasdone in the pastbirths (likea balancesheet of the pastgood and baddeeds)' but of these SanchitaKarmas the result of some karmas, which are knownas Prarabadha, are alloted for this birth(present birth). The nativeis supposed to enjoythe fruitsof the good karmasand to suffer misieriesfor his sins. The fructificationof these dependupon the orderof the dashathe "ative gets duringthe presentbirth and on the gochara(transit position). The thirdcategory of the karmasi.e. Kriyaman and Agami Karmas is the karmasthe nativewill do in this birth. The resultsof these karmascan be enjoyedby the nativeduring the presentbirth or they may also go to the depositof SanchitaKarmas. This againdepends upon the orderof the dashaand transit positionthe nativegets during the presentbirth. We have seen many peopleworking sincerely and are quiteeligible to achievecertain results, but they don't get it. The personswho were less sincereand were also not capableof getting,do get the favourable results. The differenceis becausethe favourable dasha givesone the successand the unfavourable perioddenies the sameto the other. The predictivepart is the most difficultand undependable one. One has to work hard to understandthe meaningsand applicationof the mysteriousprinciples of Astrology. We shouldpray God to help us in learningthis sacredscience and also in servingthe humanbeings with the help of VedicAstrology.
