(D) ADMISSIONS TESTS

Some and colleges require you to pass an admissions test if you are applying for courses in certain subjects. Key details of the major tests are provided below.

Other admissions tests may be required which are not listed on this page. Please check the individual websites.

Students are advised to register for the tests ASAP as there are limited spaces and the tests are also opened up to regional candidates.

Admission tests are only valid in the year when you applied to the universities.

Registration is open from 1 May - 18 Sep 2018. Testing begins from 02 Jul - 02 Oct 2018. Test fee: £115.

The test is conducted at the Pearson Professional Centers (located at International Plaza, Anson Road). All candidates must register for the test using the Pearson VUE online registration system. https://lnat.ac.uk/registration/ You will need your UCAS ID before you can complete your registration for LNAT.

Registration is tentatively open from 01 Aug 2018 - 15 Jan 2019. Testing begins from 01 Sep 2018 - 20 Jan 2019. For confirmed dates, please refer to the website. (http://www.lnat.ac.uk/registration/dates-and-deadlines/ ). Test fee: £70.

*If you are applying to Oxford, you must register and book an LNAT test slot by 5 Oct 2018. Also, you must sit for LNAT by 20 Oct 2018 at the very latest.

• Maths Test of If you are applying to study Mathematics courses at Mathematics • Durham University for University Admission • Lancaster University (TMUA) • • University of Southampton

you are encouraged to take Test of Mathematics for University Admission as part of your application. You will also be able to share your results with the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) if you're applying to study Mathematics and Economics or Mathematics with Economics.

The test is administered by the RELC. Candidates should register directly with RELC to take the test.

• Maths Mathematics • For University of Oxford • Computer Admissions • Imperial College London Science Tests (MAT) For details, visit Imperial College's Department of Mathematics website. http://www.imperial.ac.uk/study/ug/courses/mathematics- department/ • University of Warwick for the Mathematics BSc (G100) degree or Master of Mathematics (G103) degree, applicants are encouraged to take the MAT, STEP, or the Test of Mathematics for University Admission (TMUA). Taking a test is not compulsory, however, a good performance on the MAT or the Test of Mathematics for University Admission may result in a reduced offer. Registration for 2018 was closed on 27 April 2018.
