SL STIPULATED NAME OF THE WORK WORK VALUE ELIGIBILITY NIT No. No PERIOD 1) Electrical Installation works for proposed up Bonafied electrical gradation of Makhanlal High School, contractors having 07 Days WBPWD/EE/N24PRG/ELEC/31/20-21 Panpur,North 24 Parganas experience of similar work. NA 1) Name of the work and the due date of opening should be super scribed on the sealed cover of the quotation. 2) Supply/work to be effected /completed within 07 days from date of layout. 3) Specification of materials, other allied papers may be seen from this office notice board on week days between 11.30 A.M. and 4.00 P.M. or. from PWD website. 4) Intending quotationers shall apply in writing for permission to participate in the quotation procedure and shall produce requisite documents i.e clearance of last FY Income Tax, GST, Professional Tax, PAN, Deed of partnership (for partnership firm), Power of attorney (for partnership firm), Trade License Electrical Contractor’s License etc. and any other documents if require to the satisfaction of the Executive Engineer, North 24 Parganas Electrical Division, PWDte. 5) Credentials 40% of tender/estimated amount about past experience (within five years), financial ability, special aptitude for supply of materials/ work for which quotation has been called for will also be judged. 6) No Import licence will be granted for importing the materials. 7) Rates should be quoted in figures as well as in words. 8) Rate should be quoted inclusive of all taxes and duties. 9) No quotation with price variation clause will be entertained. 10) Rate quoted in totality should be criteria for selection. 11) Successful Quotatioer will have to deposit earnest money 2% on quoted amount in form of Bank Draft in favour of the Executive Engineer, North 24 Parganas Electrical Division, P.W.Dte. & Govt. form 2911/2911(i)/2911(ii). Successful quotationer will have to execute agreement in appropriate Govt. form 2911/2911(i)/2911(ii). 12) Acceptance of the lowest or any other Quotation is not obligatory. 13) An additional performance security @10% of the tendered amount shall be obtained from the successful bidder if the accepted bid value is 80% or less of the estimate put to tender. The additional performance security shall be submitted in the form of Bank Guarantee from any scheduled bank before issuance of the work order. If the bidder fails to submit the additional performance security within 7(seven) working days from the date of issuance of letter of acceptance, his earnest money will be forfeited & other necessary actions as per NIT like black listing of the contractor, etc. may be taken. The bank guarantee shall have to be valid up to end of the contract period & shall be renewed accordingly if required . 14) As per Government Order, Vide Memo No- 5784-PW/L&A/2M-175/2017 dated- 12.09.2017, The procedure for release of security deposit kept in the form of Bank Guarantees for electrical works in the following manner, if not forfeited under conditions of contract: Defect Liability Period Release of Security Deposit (in percentages) Where defect liability period is one year from the works 100% on completion of defect liability period. completion date. Where defect liability period is more than one year from the i) 30% before one year of completion of defect liability period. works completion date. ii) 70% on completion of defect liability period. 15) The accepting authority reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason there to. 16) Quotations will be received in this office up to 02.30 P.M on 08.06.2020 and will be opened shortly thereafter in Presence of the quotationers at the time of opening. 17) Last date of Taking Permission with submission of relevant documents on: 05.06.2020 up to 02.30 PM. 18) Canvassing in connection with tenders/quotation is strictly Prohibited and the tender submitted by the contractors where sort to canvassing will be liable rejection . 19) N.B. If case of any unforeseen situation the office remain closed or in the absence of the undersigned the tender will be opened next working days available subsequently. 20) The bidders are requested to download Notice Inviting Quotation & Specification of Work form departmental website : www. pwdwb .in. & may drop quotations only after receipt of permission from the undersigned.
