GOVERNMENT OF OFFICE OF THE COMMISSIONER OF NOTIFICATION In partial modification of COMMISSIONER’S EARLIER ORDER NO. 1689 DATED 04.06.2018, whereas it is necessary to regulate the restriction of speed of vehicles on major roads & arterial roads mentioned below in order to minimize road accidents owing to over speeding and of vehicles and to make effective Law and Order as well as Management within the jurisdiction of Barrackpore Police Commissionerate.

Hence, in exercise of powers vested in me under Sections 112(2)/115/116/117 of M.V. Act, 1988 vide Notification No. 2827(A)-WT/3M-80/2002 dated 1st September’ 2011 of Transport Department, Government of West Bengal, I, Sunil Kumar Choudhary, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate, do hereby impose restriction and regulation of movement of vehicles on the major roads & arterial roads and / or areas as noted below.
