Your participation in tonight's meeting will help shape future improvements to North Milwaukee Ave and Logan Square. We appreciate your involvement and look forward to your continued participation throughout the study. 1 PROJECT OVERVIEW From the Spring of 2017 through Summer 2018, CDOT will be working with community members to identify traffic and safety improvements that will make Milwaukee Avenue from West Logan Boulevard to Belmont Avenue more user-friendly. It is officially zoned and functions as a Pedestrian Street from Diversey to Logan. -

NORTH LAWNDALE: A SURVEY OF EXISTING CONDITIOns AUGUST 2005 Special acknowledgements to Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, Alderman Chandler and the 24th ward office, Lawndale Christian Development Corporation, Lawndale Neighborhood Organization, and Lawndale Community Action for their time and assistance. This work was funded by the Steans Family Foundation and Harris Bank. PURPOSE E PROJECT PARAMETERS North Lawndale, a community located on In order to develop a comprehensive inventory, parcel level data was collected in a defined study area. According L Chicago’s West Side, has long faced serious redevelopment challenges. Fortunately current data provided by the Cook County Assessor, there are 9,998 parcels in the entire North Lawndale today, as a result of tremendous community community. In order to have effective, reliable data, and given the resources available, MPC identified a smaller initiative and public investment, long overdue study area. The study area consists of the parcels located in census tracts 290900, 291000, 291100, 291200, neighborhood revitalization is underway. To 291300, 291800, 291900, 292000, 292100, 292200, 292300, 292400, 292500, 292600, and 292700. The refined aid these efforts, the Metropolitan Planning study area contains 7,295 DA Council (MPC) conducted a comprehensive inventory of: land use, structure types, building parcels. Approximately heights, roof types, and vacancy of each parcel 7 percent or 511 parcels N in a defined area of North Lawndale (see map located in the study area 1). Due notice having been given and Defendants appeared through Counsel. An evidentiary hearing on the preliminary injunction was held via remote proceedings on June 4, 2020, June 10, 2020, June 15, 2020 and June 16, 2020 with Judge Reilly presiding. The Court, having considered Plaintiffs’ Complaint, Plaintiffs’ Emergency Motion for Preliminary Injunction (“PI”), Plaintiffs’ Memorandum of Law in support thereof, Defendants’ Verified Answer, and Defendants’ Memorandum of Law in opposition to Plaintiffs’ Motion; and having considered the evidence submitted by the parties, the testimony of the witnesses and their credibility, and the arguments of counsel, finds the following. 1 PARTIES Five plaintiffs are employees of four McDonald's franchises and/or McDonald’s Operating Company (“McOpCos”): Taynarvis Massey (“Massey”), Maria Villasenor (“Villasenor”), Sujey Figueroa (“Figueroa”), Truvon Turner (“Turner”), and Ryan Freeman (“Freeman”). Collectively, these Plaintiffs are known as the “Worker Plaintiffs.” The remaining four plaintiffs are family members or cohabitants of the McDonald’s employees. They are: Noemi Villasenor (“Noemi”), Edwin Pliego (“Pliego”), Jayvonna Gardley (“Gardley”) and Joyce Freeman (“Joyce”). McDonald’s Corporation (“McDonald’s”) operates and franchises McDonald’s restaurants. Defendant DAK4, LLC (“DAK4”) owns and operates the franchise of McDonald’s located at 10320 South Kedzie Avenue in Chicago. -

ORDINANCE NO. 98-122 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING RELOCATION AND RESTORATION OF THE HOMAN STATION HOUSE TO CENTRAL PARK AND LAKE STREET ON THE LAKE STREET PORTION OF THE GREEN LINE WHEREAS, The Chicago Transit Authority restored service on the Green Line in 1996 after a 26 month closure for reconstruction; and WHEREAS, The Illinois Historic Preservation Agency has included the Homan station in a programmatic agreement that obligates the Chicago Transit Authority to preserve the Homan station as a best representative of its type; and WHEREAS, Ordinance 94-65 states that the Kedzie and Homan stations shall be reopened as a combined station as part of the Green Line reconstruction project; and WHEREAS, The Kedzie Station has been rebuilt; and WHEREAS, Residents of the East Garfield Park community, the Chicago Park District, and the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance have supported location of a station in Garfield Park; and WHEREAS, Since the decision to establish the Kedzie and Homan Station as a combined station,.as reflected in the adoption of Ordinance 94-65, the State of Illinois, the Chicago Park District, and the City of Chicago have made significant investments in the historic restoration of the Garfield Park Field House and Garfield Park Conservatory; and WHEREAS, The Illinois Historic Preservation Agency has approved the relocation and restoration of the Homan Station to Central Park and Lake Street; WHEREA.S, A public hearing was held by the Authority on November 4, 1998 to discuss, among other items, the financing and relocation of the Homan Station; and WHEREAS, A restored Homan Station, relocated to a new location at Central Park and Lake Street, Chicago, Illinois, would complement the historic significance of Garfield Park and would provide rail service at a location approximately equi distant from the Pulaski and Kedzie stations; now, therefore: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CHICAGO TRANSIT BOARD OF THE CHICAGO TRANSIT AUTHORITY: ( ( ORDINANCE NO. -
