The Senate Committee on Finance was called to order by Chair at 11:25 a.m. on Monday, April 17, 2017, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

CHAIR WOODHOUSE: I will open this meeting for the purpose of introduction of eight bill draft requests (BDR).

MARK KRMPOTIC (Senate Fiscal Analyst, Fiscal Analysis Division, Legislative Counsel Bureau): The requests for introduction are one-shot appropriations BDR numbers 1195, 1196, 1197, 1198, 1199, 1204, 1205 and 1206. They consist of requests from the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

BILL DRAFT REQUEST 1195: Makes appropriations from the State General Fund to the Aging and Disability Services Division of the Department of Health and Human Services for changing the information system platform for deferred maintenance projects at Desert Regional Center and for changing

the information system platform for early intervention services and authorizes the expenditure of certain money for the latter purpose. (Later introduced as Senate Bill (S.B.) 531.)

BILL DRAFT REQUEST 1196: Makes an appropriation from the State General Fund to the Division of Health Care Financing and Policy of the Department of Health and Human Services for the completion of the Medicaid Management Information System modernization project and authorizes the expenditure of certain money for the same purposes. (Later introduced as S.B. 530.)

BILL DRAFT REQUEST 1197: Makes appropriations from the State General Fund to the Division of Public and Behavioral Health of the Department of Health and Human Services for a laboratory information system and an integrated medication management system. (Later introduced as S.B. 532.)

BILL DRAFT REQUEST 1198: Makes appropriations from the State General Fund to the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services of the Department of Health and Human Services for certain information system projects and authorized the expenditure of certain money for the same purposes. (Later introduced as S.B. 533.)

BILL DRAFT REQUEST 1199: Makes appropriations from the State General Fund to the Division of Child and Family Services of the Department of Health and Human Services for deferred maintenance projects necessary for the security and operation of several facilities. (Later introduced as S.B. 534.)

BILL DRAFT REQUEST 1204: Makes an appropriation from the State General Fund to the State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for the Sagebrush Ecosystem Conservation Credit System program. (Later introduced as S.B. 535.)

BILL DRAFT REQUEST 1205: Makes appropriations from the State General Fund to the State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for projects at various parks and recreation areas of the Division of State Parks and authorizes the expenditure of certain money for a certain purpose. (Later introduced as S.B. 536.)

BILL DRAFT REQUEST 1206: Makes appropriations from the State General Fund to the State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for certain equipment and vehicles and deferred maintenance projects. (Later introduced as S.B. 537.)

SENATOR GOICOECHEA MOVED TO INTRODUCE BDR 1195, BDR 1196, BDR 1197, BDR 1198, BDR 1199, BDR 1204, BDR 1205 AND BDR 1206.

SENATOR FORD SECONDED THE MOTION.
