Three of these regons have common border with Turkey- Burgas, Yambol and Haskovo y 1996- FMD, O1, Malko Sharkovo village,Yambol district, 15 km from Turkish border, 131 cattle, 1 512 sheep, 87 goats, 402 pigs, sourse of infection one calf from Turkey in 2 km border zone in Krainovo- just on the Turkish border joint to cattle in Malko Sharkovo y 1999 -. Bluetongue, serotype 9, Slivarovo village, Burgas district, 3 km from the Turkish bored. To the end of September more than 120 outbreaks have been registered in Burgas, Yambol , Haskovo and Kardjaly regions y 2011- O/1 PanAsia, Burgas district, Kosti village-2 km from Turkish border (5 January), Resovo village, just on the border (15 January), Gramaticovo village, 10 km from the border, Kirovo (19 March), 7 km from the border, Bliznak (2 April)- 9 km from the border, Dolno Jabalkovo (7 April)- 6 km from the border. y 2013- Sheep pox and goat pox, Burgas district, Stoilovo village, 6 km from the Turkish border, 112 sheep and goats, Kochan village, Blagoevgrad region, 12 km from the Greece border Yambol distict is most affected by exotic diseases penetrated from Turkey- 8 times, Burgas district- 5 times and Haskovo district- 5 times Something different should be established in the most risky areas in the European Union referring to exotic diseases (FMD, PPR, SPGP, BT etc., and it is strengthening the surveillance systems and veterinary capacity in regions which have border with Turkey FMD outbreaks in Bulgaria for the period 1972- 2011 FMD outbreaks in Turkey for the period 1.1.2013- 30.09.2013 ThankThank youyou forfor thethe attention!attention!.
