One minute elegant and graceful and the next revved up and even touching on the wild side. Although dancing solo we are Publisher never alone, in reality we dance with hundreds of other people at the same time. Could there be Betty Drummond anything more enjoyable than that? For me, there is no other form of dancing quite like it. [email protected] But the one thing that really highlights the difference between Line dance and other forms of Editor dance is the people who take part in it. In my many years as a publisher, I have met and mingled Laurent Saletto with thousands of people from all over the world and from all walks of life. But it was not until [email protected] I met Line dancers that I discovered so many genuine people who seek out every opportunity to Web Editor turn their hobby into something good for others. It’s a sharing thing that goes hand in hand with Line dancing and it never ceases to amaze me. Pamela Edelston [email protected] Line dancers are the same the world over. Assistant Dance Editor Kath Butler And it does not stop there. Just look at the number of pages we have published over the years, [email protected] which are dedicated to Charity Lines. How many instructors have worked with carers, people with learning difficulties, how many events and socials have been dedicated to supporting worthy Advertising Sales causes and how many millions of pounds/dollars/euros/etc have been raised around the world? Chris Chew Tel: 01704 392338 [email protected] In this month’s issue, Deana Randle tells us about her amazing life’s work and I know there are Circulation Manager so many others just like Deana who also dedicate their dance talents to transforming lives. Phil Drummond [email protected] Recently, Elmarie from South Africa sent us an email to thank us for the feature we published in last month’s edition “Too Poor To Dance”. She went on to say how delighted she was that our Design Team readers responded to her plight by sending dance outfits, a cheque and some DVD’s. This was an Dave Clement, Amy Houghton, impromptu response of goodwill and support that is so typical of Line dancers. It will help Elmarie Emma Wightman, David Lucas, David Atherton, in her daily struggle to change the lives of children who love to dance. I find myself asking once Ian McCabe and Richard Fielding again what other group of magazine readers would respond in this way?
