From the Archives Through the acquisition of the Augener, Galliard and Weekes catalogues, and that of Joseph Williams, founded in 1808, Stainer & Bell can fairly claim one of the broadest and most firmly established pedigrees of any music publisher. Tastes in music change, and only a very small percentage of the music published by all five companies can be purchased ‘off the shelf’ and it is these titles that are detailed in this catalogue. However, much is readily available through our extensive archives and ‘Made-to-Order’ Service. Where items are contained in Library volumes including The Byrd Edition, Musica Britannica, The English Madrigalists, Early English Church Music and the Purcell Society Edition, offprints can generally be made available. Archives are made to firm written order only. Cash is generally required with order. Traders may deduct 25% when ordering. Traders with existing credit accounts settled within our standard credit terms may use these at the same 25% discount. Further copies may not be made locally from authorised copies supplied under this scheme. Subject to contractual rights, the service applies to out-of-print copies in our archives and offprints from our Library editions. The quality of copies is dependent on the quality of the preserved materials from which they are made. Advertised ‘Made-to-Order’ titles with ‘AC’ numbers are listed in the main part of the catalogue but are subject to the above terms and conditions. Our Archive Department will be very pleased to quote for single or multiple copies. ADDISON, John ARNE, Thomas Concerto. Trumpet and Piano 0000 7 2510 £14.45A Alfred. Opera. Full Score.
