Travel a) Travel cost from participant’s home country to Zanzibar, Tanzania varies according to the airport of departure b) Local travel: flight from Zanzibar to Pemba ranges between 70–115 USD; flights are available early morning, mid- morning and afternoon. (, As Salaam Air, ZanAir, ) You can also connect from to Pemba; estimated cost ranges between 140–150 USD Tickets can be purchased online, but with prior arrangement PHL-IdC can help facilitate local travel.

Visa

Participants will need a visa (US$ 50–250) which can be obtained from Tanzanian Embassy in participant’s country or at the airport on arrival. Online visa application is also possible.
