Raskošna povijest hotela Esplanade Od 1925. godine Esplanade Zagreb Hotel je najpoznatiji i najluksuzniji hotel u Zagrebu i regiji, a u travnju 2015. obilježio je okruglih 90 godina svojeg postojanja. Njegova bezvremenska otmjenost, elegancija i šarm kojima je davne 1925. privukao putnike poznatoga Orient Expressa i danas ga čine elitnim odredištem te kulturnom i povijesnom ikonom Zagreba. Poznat kao hram udobnosti i gastronomije, i u svojim devedesetim godinama drži korak sa suvremenošću, istovremeno njegujući harmoniju tradicije i prošlih vremena. Izgrađen za putnike orient expressa Početkom 20. stoljeća, dva najpoznatija hotela toga vremena su postala premala za sve veći broj putnika koji su stizali u Zagreb poznatim Orient Expressom. Kako bi se zadovoljile potrebe grada uesplanade razvoju, izgradnja novog, luksuznog hotela nametnula se kao prioritet. Hotel je trebalo izgraditi na širokom terenu (španj. ), u neposrednoj blizini željezničkog kolodvora – tada jedine poveznice s Europom i ostatkom svijeta - koji je bio jedna od postaja slavnog Orient Expressa na relaciji Pariz-Venecija-Istanbul. Godine 1917. je raspisan međunarodni natječaj kojem su pristupili brojni izvrsni arhitekti toga vremena, uključujući slavnog Švicarca Adolfa Loosa koji, međutim, nije pobijedio na natječaju. Pobijedio je Nijemac Otto Rehnig, čije je izvorne nacrte preradio Dionis Sunko, kojega danas smatraju arhitektom ovog remek-djela arhitekture “Belle Époque”. Gradnja najvećeg hotela u Zagrebu je trajala samo 26 mjeseci. Na svečanom otvorenju, 22. travnja 1925., okupilo se oko 200 uvaženih uzvanika, među kojima i zagrebački gradonačelnik Heinzel. Novinari su hotelu predviđali blistavu budućnost na međunarodnom planu, a među prvim gostima se našao i gospodin Glück (njem. sreća), koji je pobudio nadu da će se predviđanja i ostvariti. -

Using the public “face” of memory – monuments, museums and commemorations – I contend that Croatia’s narrative of self and self- sacrifice (hence “KRVatska” – a portmanteau of “blood/krv” and “Croatia/Hrvatska”) is divided between praising “defenders”/“branitelji”, selectively remembering its victims/“žrtve”, and silencing the Serb minority. While this divide is partially dependent on geography and the various ways the Croatian War for Independence came to an end in Dalmatia and Slavonia, the “defender” narrative remains preeminent. Marta Borić Cvenić Osijek, 2019. SAŽETAK: Tema ovog završnog rada je važnost menadžmenta i marketinga u organizaciji glazbenih festivala. Zadnjih godina sve popularniji postaju razni festivali, a posebno glazbeni festivali. Organizacija ovakvog događaja dosta je komplicirana što će se vidjeli i kroz ovaj rad. Zadaća menadžmenta kod glazbenih festivala je da stvore kvalitetnu ideju, zaposle prave ljude, stvore realan plan za festival te kada ga provedu da ga znaju i održavati. Potrebno je znati kvalitetno nadzirati festival. Spomenuti će se i što se sve ubraja u marketing događanja, odnosno festivala. Kao primjer u radu obrađena su dva velika hrvatska glazbena festivala, INmusic festival i Ultra Europe koji se provodi u Splitu te jedan američki festival koji nije uspio, a to je Fyre festival. ROBERT ŠULC RAZVOJ PRISTUPAČNOG TURIZMA U GRADU ZAGREBU Diplomski rad predan na ocjenu Geografskom odsjeku Prirodoslovno- matematičkog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu radi stjecanja akademskog zvanja magistra geografije Zagreb, 2019. Ovaj je diplomski rad izrađen u sklopu diplomskog sveučilišnog studija Geografija; smjer: istraživački (Baština i turizam) na Geografskom odsjeku Prirodoslovno-matematičkog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, pod vodstvom prof. dr. sc. Laure Šakaje. II TEMELJNA DOKUMENTACIJSKA KARTICA Sveučilište u Zagrebu Diplomski rad Prirodoslovno - matematički fakultet Geografski odsjek RAZVOJ PRISTUPAČNOG TURIZMA U GRADU ZAGREBU Robert Šulc Izvadak: Osobe s invaliditetom najveća su manjinska skupina turista u svijetu s potencijalom od preko milijardu ljudi, što je značajan potencijal za turizam svake zemlje. Iako osobe s invaliditetom imaju motivaciju i pravo na sudjelovanje u turističkim putovanjima, trebaju posebno prilagođene uvjete za ostvarenje sudjelovanja. Pristupačni turizam za osobe s invaliditetom još uvijek je nedovoljno istražena grana turizma, ali se, sukladno turističkim trendovima, sve više prepoznaje kao potencijal. U gradu Zagrebu turizam posljednjih 10 godina proživljava intenzivan razvoj vidljiv kroz proširenje turističke ponude, porast broja turista, povećanje broja smještajnih kapaciteta, marketing i dr. S obzirom na povoljan turističkogeografski položaj i turističku atraktivnost i veći broj receptivnih kapaciteta, grad Zagreb ima velik potencijal i za razvoj pristupačnog turizma pa je cilj ovog diplomskog rada utvrditi trenutačno stanje i mogućnosti razvoja prilagođenog turizma u gradu Zagrebu za slijepe i slabovidne osobe te osobe koje se kreću uz pomoć invalidskih kolica. Analizom pristupa lokalnim atrakcijama, smještajnim kapacitetima, javnom prijevozu i drugim turističkim uslugama prikazana je trenutna razina pristupačnosti u gradu Zagrebu. Također, navedeni su i inozemni primjeri dobre prakse te su dani prijedlozi poboljšanja za grad Zagreb.
