Covid 19 (Coronavirus) Ticketing FAQ’s Public health considerations – for everyone - and particularly the most vulnerable in all our communities - are everyone’s priority. The Rugby Football League and Super League are following and have always followed Government’s advice and will continue to do so. We are in constant contact with the relevant Government Departments who are informed by the national scientific and medical experts. All tickets purchased with RFL ticketing are subject to the standard terms and conditions of sale which can be found on our ticketing website https://www.rugby- league.com/tickets/terms__conditions Please understand that due to the high volume of enquiries, our ticketing team is experiencing higher numbers of calls and emails at the current time and it may therefore take a little longer than normal for us to respond. We will endeavour to respond to all our customers within 72 hours at this time. We are working remotely in line with the government restrictions and we appreciate your patience. Dacia Magic Weekend Dacia Magic Weekend at St James’ Park is postponed. The event was due to make its return to Newcastle on May 23-24. Betfred Super League intends to keep Dacia Magic Weekend in the 2020 schedule and all options are being considered as part of extensive and ongoing fixtures remodelling. More information will be provided once there is a clearer picture regarding the resumption of the season. Tickets already bought for Dacia Magic Weekend in Newcastle will be transferable to a later date at St James’ Park, or an alternative venue depending on when the season restarts. However, we understand you are eager to know the next steps relating to your tickets. Consequently, we have prepared some FAQs to provide you with some further information. Will my existing ticket(s) be valid for the rearranged date? Yes as per the RFL ticketing terms and conditions (https://www.rugby- league.com/tickets/terms__conditions) your existing tickets will remain valid for the rearranged date. When will you know the rearranged date? Please be patient with us during this time of uncertainty. As soon as it is possible for us to announce the rearranged date, we will be in touch to explain the next steps. What happens to my ticket(s) if I cannot attend the rearranged date? After the new rearranged date is published, and should you be unable to attend you will be able to take one of the following courses of action should you wish to cancel/return your tickets: 1. receive a credit note for the full amount paid, including booking fees, to be used for any other 2020 or 2021 RFL Ticketing event or 2. receive a full refund of the ticket price that you paid I already know I don’t want to attend the event on a rearranged date. When can I request a refund? Given the unprecedented circumstances, we understand that some fans may be eager to receive their money back as soon as possible. As you can appreciate, while the Ticket Office team continues to be operational, we are working remotely, in line with the government restrictions, so it may take some time to respond to queries. We appreciate your patience and ask for you not to contact us at this time until we have more certainty about the rearranged date. At that time, Super League (Europe) will confirm how to claim your refund. I have purchased ticket(s) for an event with someone other than RFL ticketing (e.g. my Club), how do I get a refund? Please speak to the point of sale from where your ticket originates for further information. Clubs will operate their own refund policies, many of which can be found on Club websites and they will communicate further information for fans who have purchased directly with them. Can you compensate me on travel and/or accommodation expenses for events that are now cancelled? As per the T&C’s of sale https://www.rugby-league.com/tickets/terms__conditions, unfortunately we cannot compensate anything beyond the cost of the tickets. In the event of a cancellation, this will be communicated at the earliest opportunity to give ticket holders as much notice as possible. Other Major 2020 Rugby League Events - including Betfred Super League Grand Final I am worried about Covid 19 (Coronavirus), can I get a refund on ticket(s) for an event that is still planned to go ahead? Please note at the current time all other major Rugby League events this year are still going ahead, therefore no refunds are available for any other major events in 2020. If an event is still stated as going ahead as originally planned, you will not be entitled to a refund as per the T&C’s of sale https://www.rugby-league.com/tickets/terms__conditions.
