The Rijksmuseum is in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The museum is dedicated to art and history. Originally, it was built in the Hague in 1798, but moved to Amsterdam in 1808. The Rijksmuseum was built by Pierre Cuypers and it officially opened in 1885. It has 8,000 objects of art and history displayed. It is home to over 1 million objects from the years 1200-2000.
