Itinerary of your cruise

Day 5 - Saturday Port town that's popular with tourists, on the northern coast of Jamaica, an island with stunningly beautiful landscapes and luxuriant Ocho RIos vegetation which flourishes in the tropical climate. Ship docked, no water sports.

Day 6 - Sunday Sailing on the open sea A restorative day at sea and choose from the range of inviting possibilities on our remarkable sailing ship.

Waves of immigration and trade have come to Samana Bay over hundreds of years. Napoleon's troops seized the bay area in the 19th Day 7 - Monday Samana Bay Century, later selling it to the USA. Well-preserved with an authentic historical feel, the bay boasts beaches, mountains and luxuriant plant life. Ship at anchor, water sports available (without waterskiing).

Day 8 - Tuesday Located where the meet the Atlantic Ocean, its 32 km of beaches with crystal clear waters, its tropical forests with lush Punta Cana vegetation and amazing waterfalls, all make this region a genuine paradise. Ship at anchor, water sports available.

Excursions of your cruise

Day 4 - Friday After travelling through the verdant surroundings of Ironshore and Roshall, we will visit Greenwood Great House. Dating from the 18th Montego Bay - Greenwood century, the house boasts authentic furniture, a stunning view and a pretty garden, and you can learn all about its history and the daily life Great House and beach of its former owners. Then it's time for a swim at the famous Doctor's Cave beach (entry included, but deckchair rental is at extra cost). Be (1/2 day, morning) * sure to bring your swimming things and a towel.

Day 4 - Friday Set off on a long bamboo raft for two, making your way peacefully along the . Enjoy the lush tropical vegetation as the current Montego Bay - Rum and raft gently guides you down stream. When you reach your destination, you will be given a cocktail making demonstration showcasing the uses (1/2 day, morning) * of Jamaican rum, before heading back to the boat via the historic centre of Montego Bay.

Day 4 - Friday This trip takes in Rose Hall, an immense Georgian manor house at the top of a hill, with an unbeatable panoramic view of the Jamaican Montego Bay / Rose Hall coastline. Built in the 1770s and restored in the 1960s, you will learn about the business of this enormous sugar cane plantation, as well as Great House and shopping seeing the magnificent decor and period furniture. Also included in the intinerary is a visit to the Rosehall shops, and free time in Montego (1/2 day, morning) * Bay town centre.

Day 5 - Saturday Explore rural Jamaica on a visit to the local market. Immerse yourself in the unique ambiance of the place and awaken all your senses as Ocho Rios / Jamaica flavours (1/2 day - you smell, touch and taste the tropical produce on offer from the colourful stallholders. You will also explore the landscapes of the North morning) * Coast, the tropical forest in Fern Gully and the Blue Hole, a natural treasure hidden in the hills of Ocho Rios.

Day 5 - Saturday No woman no cry, Could you be loved, One love, Jamming... You're sure to know these reggae songs made so famous by Bob Marley. Make Ocho Rios / Bob Marley the most of your stopover in Jamaica and visit the village of Nine Miles where the reggae legend grew up, as well as the mausoleum where Mausoleum (1/2 day - he now rests beside his guitar. You will visit his childhood home and his famous stone pillow where he liked to rest his head to meditate morning) * and compose.

Day 5 - Saturday Set off to see one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Jamaica along a little road that winds its way through the tropical forest. You will climb Ocho Rios / Ocho Rios and Dunn's waterfalls (1/2 day) up to natural pools alternating with wild waterfalls over more than 180 metres, starting from the beach, where the river finishes its course. * An unmissable site that features on every postcard of Jamaica.

Explore Los Haitises National Park. from the sea Navigate through this natural labyrinth of vertically-trained sugar cane in the bay which is Day 7 - Monday the habitat of numerous colonies of seabirds, before heading off to explore the mangrove forest. You will visit one of the park's caverns Samana Bay / Los Haitises natural park (half day) * which bears traces of religious beliefs, left by the first Native American inhabitants of the Dominican Republic. On the way back, you'll have time to swim and enjoy the fine sandy beach of Cavo Levantado.

Day 7 - Monday Relax on the little island of Cayo Levantado, also known as Bacardi Island since a famous advert was filmed there. You will be able to enjoy Samana Bay / Cayo Levantado (1/2 day - the dreamlike setting of this stunningly beautiful place. The white sand, crystal-clear water and leaning coconut trees are all yours for a morning) * half day. Sun lounger and welcome cocktail included.

Day 7 - Monday Head off in a boat exclusively chartered for Club Med to meet humpback whales. During the mating season, hundreds of humpback whales Samana Bay / whales come to the warm waters of the bay to breed. You will witness the amazing spectacle of the males leaping out of the water and the young observation seafari (1/2 whale calves swimming beside their mothers. On the way back, you'll have time to swim and enjoy the fine sandy beach at Cavo day, morning) * Levantado.

Day 8 - Tuesday Punta Cana / Altos de Chavon et rivière de Chavon (1/2 journée, matin) *

Day 9 - Wednesday Explore the amazing 240 square metres of the Cave of Wonders. In the midst of stalactites, columns and other rock formations, you will La Romana / Cave of wonders (1/2 day, morning) discover ancient drawings left behind by the first indigenous people of the Caribbean. On your way back, you will stop off at La Romana * where you can do a spot of shopping at the village market. * Excursion available during and after the booking of your cruise
