October 14, 2013 the Antelope Valley Transit October 14, 2013 The Antelope Valley Transit Authority’s (AVTA) Stuff-a-Bus is back, only this time it’s bigger than ever! We have partnered with Wal-Mart, the Antelope Valley Mall, and High Desert Broadcasting, to make this year’s event a huge success. AVTA’s Stuff-A-Bus is slated for December 7, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in front of Wal-Mart in west Lancaster and on December 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in front of the Antelope Valley Mall. Our Stuff-a-Bus will also take part in the Magical BLVD Christmas on December 6 and will be present at the A.V. Board of Trade Holiday Breakfast on December 12. Please consider helping us reach our goal of stuffing a 40-foot bus with new toys and clothes! We are looking to partner with local businesses that would be willing to sponsor our toy drive. AVTA’s Stuff-A-Bus will be heavily publicized through a print and radio advertising campaign ending with live radio remotes during both collection events. Each sponsor will have their logo featured on our Stuff-a-Bus for five weeks as it travels popular routes throughout the Antelope Valley during the holiday season. Our Stuff-a-Bus webpage will include links to our participating sponsors and their logos will be added to the Stuff-a-Bus flyer that is passed out to more than 10,000 residents. Major sponsors will also be interviewed by a radio D.J during broadcasts, live from the event. All donations will go to Grace Resource Center, Children’s Center of the Antelope Valley, SAVES, Child and Family Guidance Center, and Children’s Bureau, Antelope Valley. Help us help the children. For more information contact Wendy Williams at (661) 729-2239 or send e-mails to [email protected]. We need your support!
