NEW HEIGHTS Despite several players missing games due to COVID-19 protocols, four players set new career highs in at least one offensive statistical category. After a five-assist week last week, Garret Cockerill registered new highs in points (30), assists (24) and tied his previous high in goals (6). Mike McKee has career highs in assists (14) and points (16). Justin Hamonic tied his career high in goals, while also adding career highs in points (13) and assists (12). Matt Lane has his best statistical season in goals (19), assists (21) and points (40). ROMAN EMPIRE WESTERN CONFERENCE Roman Durny is another player that missed time this season, missing two months on the IR, STANDINGS (WIN PCT) dating back to March 20. Durny’s 2.13 GAA is tops in the ECHL among qualified goalies this year. Durny is 2-0-1-0 since returning from injury. Durny also has a perfect record against 1. WICHITA (.667) penalty shots (2/2) and shootout attempts (4/4). He leads the Oilers with 12 wins and a .924 2. FORT WAYNE- (.622) save percentage. His save percentage is the best by an Oiler since the ECHL merger. Durny’s 3. ALLEN - (.621) 2.13 GAA trails only Devin Wiliams’ 18-19 2.12 GAA since the merger. For comparison, Jussi 4. UTAH (.583) Olkinoura, who just defeated Team USA at the 2021 Men’s World Championships, posted a 5. RAPID CITY - (.515) 2.52 GAA and .911 save percentage in the same amount of games with Tulsa. 6. TULSA (.507) SERIES SYNOPSIS 7. KANSAS CITY (.477) This game marks the fourth-consecutive battle between these two teams. Tulsa mathemat- ically eliminated Kansas City from the playoffs on Saturday night with a 3-2 win on Alzhei- mer’s Awareness Night. Garret Cockerill has five assists over the last two games, while Adam Pleskach has three goals and three assists against the Mavericks in his last two outings. Matt Greenfield saw his perfect record against the Oilers slip away due to a third-period goal from rookie Conlan Keenan. Keenan has four of his five professional goals in the month of May.
