The Caucus is a joint business meeting of the Bay Area Agencies passenger rail-oriented committees in the TRB Public Transportation Section. The Caucus is Altamont Corridor Express Joint Powers Authority also an opportunity to learn more about local rail transit systems, programs, and policies through District its emphasis on agency presentations and technical tours. The Caucus will look at San Francisco Municipal Transportation Authority Intercity Rail, , Rapid (Heavy) Rail, , Streetcars, Cable Cars and Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority Intermodal Transfer Facilities. The basic itinerary for the Caucus is as follows: Sonoma-Marin Authority for Rail Transit Transbay Joint Powers Authority · Wednesday Evening: Reception and business meetings. Sacramento Agencies · Thursday & Friday: Site Visits and Presentations with Bay Area agencies. California Department of Transportation · Saturday: Site Visits and Presentations with Sacramento agencies.
