INFORMATION 3rd Year at Portland State Southern Oregon (2009)

Chelsey Zimmerman is in her second year as an assistant women’s basketball coach at Portland State. She will work with the team’s guards as well as serve as the team’s travel coordinator. She will also with academ- ics and scouting.

Zimmerman came to the park blocks after serving three seasons as an assistant coach under Head Coach Lynn Kennedy at Southern Oregon University.

PLAYER BIOS While at Southern Oregon, Zimmerman served as the travel coordinator and was responsible for student-athlete academic standards, monitoring and retention.

During her time at in Ashland, the Raiders posted their best record in 16 years going 27-5 in 2014-15 and were ranked as high as No. 13 in the country. She helped Southern Oregon to two NAIA National Tournament appear- ances in 2009 and 2015 and a Sweet 16 appearance in 2015. Zimmerman also spent four years as an assistant coach at the University of Great Falls. She coached a pair of future NAIA All-Americans while in Great Falls. The team was the top-ranked academic team among NAIA women’s basketball teams, with a 3.65 GPA.

Zimmerman graduated from the University of Great Falls with a M.A. in Secondary Education. She graduated from Southern Oregon with a B.S. in Health and COACHES & STAFF Physical Education with a minor in Spanish.

AMY DENSON ASSISTANT COACH 3rd Year at Portland State Arizona State (2006) OPPONENTS

Amy Denson is in her second year as an assistant women’s basketball coach at Portland State. She will serve as the team’s camp and social media director. She will work with the team’s post players and work on scouting reports.

Denson brings extensive professional playing experience to the Park Blocks. She played professional basketball internationally for six different teams, in five different countries (Puerto Rico, Spain, Aus- tralia, Romania, and Poland) from 2006-2014.

2016-17 REVIEW Denson was twice selected as an all-star while playing in Australia and was a three-time league MVP in Puerto Rico.

Denson played collegiately at Arizona State where she was a four-year starter. She was named to the Pacific-10 Conference All-Freshman first team in 2003 and was a Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention in 2004. HISTORY & RECORDS

Keithan Gregg is in his third season at Portland State and the first as a full-time assistant coach. Gregg spent the previous two seasons as the Director of Basketball Operations & Analytics for Port- land State women’s basketball. In 2016-17, he will also worked with the men’s basketball team in a similar capacity.

Gregg’s responsibilities include acting as the scouting coordinator, assisting in recruiting, organizing

Game Day promotions, coordinating the Courtside Club, and managing future schedules. PLAYER BIOS

The native of Cutbank, Montana played three years of basketball at the University of Great Falls from 2005-2006 and then from 2007-2009. He led the NAIA in assists during the 2005-06 season.

He became the assistant coach at UGF in 2009 and coached there for five seasons helping the team get as high as a No. 21 ranking in 2013. He recruited the 2013 & 2014 player of the year in Marcel Towns as well as TJ Harris who now plays for the Harlem Globetrotters.

Gregg became the Ashland High School Head Boy’s Basketball coach for the 2014-15 season and led the team to a 12-12 record and a first round appearance at the Oregon 5A state tournament, two years removed from a one-win season. He coach Colin Malcom, an All-Midwestern COACHES & STAFF conference first team selection. Gregg also led the Girl’s Tennis team to the 2015 Oregon 5A State Championship as its head coach.

CARLY MEISTER DIRECTOR OF BASKETBALL OPERATIONS AND ANALYTICS 1st Year at Portland State Southern Oregon (2016) OPPONENTS

Carly Meister enters her first season as the Director of Basketball Operations and Analysis for the Portland State women’s basketball program.

Meister’s responsibilities will include assisting with team travel and scouting preparation. She will also assist with the collection of basketball data and the development of basketball analysis and future trends.

Meister spent the 2016-17 season as an assistant coach at Centralia College where she helped lead 2016-17 REVIEW the Trailblazers to an 18-11 overall record and an 11-3 regional record, which qualified them for the Northwest Athletic Conference tournament.

Meister played collegiately at Southern Oregon where she played three seasons under current PSU head coach Lynn Kennedy. She was a three- time All-Cascade Collegiate Conference selection and was named CCC Freshman of the Year in 2012-13. In 2015-16 she helped the Raiders to the NAIA National Championship game and was named and All-American Honorable Mention.

Meister graduated from Southern Oregon with a degree in Mathematics and plans on continuing her education at Portland State.

HISTORY & RECORDS The Elma, Wash. native was a two-time All-State selection at Elma High School where she averaged 24 points and 15 rebounds per game for her career.
