PUBLIC NOTICE
BRISTOL PARK FACILITIES CLOSED Following Government and Public Health England guidance regarding the evolving coronavirus situation, Bristol City Council has taken the decision to close a number of facilities and other services in the city’s parks in the interest of public safety. These closures are until further notice.
The new measures include temporary closure of:
Blaise Nursery retail outlet All parks car parks – Ashton Court Estate, Bristol City Council run park cafes and Blaise Estate, Oldbury Court Estate, Snuff kiosks at Ashton Court, Blaise Estate, Mills, Eastville Park, Redcatch Park and Oldbury Court Estate, Canford Park, St Netham Park, Shirehampton Park, St George Park and Hengrove Play Park Anne's Park Toilets on all sites St Andrews Park paddling pool Hengrove Play Park play equipment Netham pavilion Cabot Tower Ashton Court miniature railway The golf hub at Ashton Court Council-run bowling greens
We are seeking residents’ cooperation to stay away from other facilities. Facilities residents should not use include:
Children’s play areas in parks Park shelters Wheels parks and multi-use games Other facilities for both organised and areas informal sports
The parks grounds themselves are still open for localised exercise once a day. To protect members of the public from undue risk, anyone who has tested positively for coronavirus or who is self-isolating should stay at home.
