RMAA Review April, 2012 Page 3 of 6 2012 MEMBER’S SALARY SURVEY

The results of the annual salary survey are summarized below. The Association summarizes and tracks the responses of our members on a variety of topics, including the annual salary schedule. We can’t overstate the importance of having this salary information when it comes time for the annual salary negotiations with SARM. 2012 was a banner year for membership responses. We took into account the joint R.M. office situations and the R.M. that currently have acting administrators. With thatwe hadover 97% of all possible surveys returned. On behalf of the Board, many thanks to the majority of our members who are so very conscientious about filing their surveys.

HUMANITARIAN SERVICES

The Annual Blood Donor Challenge plaque will again be presented during the 2012 Convention. This award is presented by Canadian Blood Services to the RMAA Division whose members donate the most blood during the preceding 12 months. Will anyone unseat the reigning champions from Division 2 who have virtually owned the trophy since we began this program?

If you haven’t already done so, please notify RMAA Director Tammy Franks and let her know how many times you gave blood in the past year. Tammy is the Chair of the RMAA Humanitarian Services Committee and you can contact her at the R.M. of Stonehenge No. 73 Fax: (306) 263-2013 or E-mail: [email protected]
