Presenting: The impact of anti-VEGF treatment costs on patient outcomes A large pharmacy dispensary database was analysed to understand current treatment patterns and patient adherence rates for anti-VEGF therapy in Australia. A subanalysis explored the effect of cost on these key metrics of patient outcome. With these learnings in mind, the potential impact of recommendations of the Medicare Benefits Schedule Review Taskforce: Ophthalmology Report (October 2019) patients with nAMD and DMO and the clinics who treat them will be discussed.

Gary is a past National and NSW State President of the Australian Association of Practice Management LTD (AAPM).
