After the massive success of the record’s title track, Fozzy are set to drop their seventh studio album „Judas“. The video for Judas has been seen over nine million times on YouTube, and the track hit #1 on iTunes in eight countries across the world. Although the record label were initially against the idea, vocalist Chris Jericho pushed for the song as the record’s first single. Their last record Do You Wanna Start A War hit #54 on the Billboard charts in 2014, and Judas is set to top that figure according to the vocalist himself. “These are the best 11 songs that we have, all of them could be hits,” says Jericho in a press release. “There’s [sic] so many great songs on this I think if this was like 1987 in the days of Hysteria andAppetite for Destruction when you saw a band that had five or six singles. This is that type of record. Their third album, All That Remains, consisted entirely of original tracks (though a few of the songs were recorded by Ward's old side project Sick Speed). In 2004, Jericho dropped the McQueen persona in favor of his wrestling stage name (his real name is Christopher Irvine). Previously, he had sometimes pretended that McQueen and Jericho were two different people. Fozzy's song "Enemy" was the official theme song of WWE's No Way Out pay-per-view event in February 2005. The music video for "Enemy" was released on the bonus disc of GuitarOne's February 2005 edition. The song was also featured on the TNA iMPACT! show, just a few days before TNA Bound for Glory 2006. Chasing the Grail is the upcoming fourth album from Heavy Rock group Fozzy. It is their first album since the release of All That Remains in 2005. The album is set to be released in late 2009. FOZZY's New Album Will Contain 12 Songs, Including One Cover. During last night's episode of "Saturday Night Special" , FOZZY frontman Chris Jericho 's weekly live series which airs on his YouTube channel and Facebook page, he spoke about the progress of the recording sessions for the band's follow-up to 2017's "Judas" album. He said: "We are working now. I actually have the track listing of the new FOZZY record right here. There's 12 songs. There's 11 originals. One of them is 'Nowhere To Run' , our last Top 10 hit. One of them is a cover song, which I'm not gonna tell you. So there's 10 [new] original killer tracks on here. "It's our best album ever by far, and I can't wait for you guys to get a chance to hear it," he continued. "And we're gonna start recording vocals… We did four songs of vocals already. And one of the songs is called 'Ugly' . There you go. U-G-L-Y. You ain't got no alibi. That's all I'm saying." This past May, Jericho told Australia's Triple M radio station that FOZZY has "so many great songs" written for the new LP that "it's gonna be hard to pick the singles." Guitarist Rich Ward and producer Johnny Andrews are once again "doing the lion's share" of the songwriting for the new LP, which is being recorded primarily in Atlanta, Georgia. Released last August, "Nowhere To Run" was FOZZY 's third single to hit Top 10 on rock radio, following "Judas" and "Painless" . In addition to producing "Judas" , Andrews previously co-wrote FOZZY 's "Lights Go Out" track back in 2014. He has also written songs with the likes of ALL THAT REMAINS , THREE DAYS GRACE and HALESTORM .     Fozzy - Happenstance Nun aber mal Spaß beiseite. Bei „Fozzy“ handelt es sich um eine verdammt gelungene Metalcoverband, die auch mit guten Eigenmaterial aufwarten kann . Erschienen 2002 bei Steamhammer/SPV „Fozzy“ heißt diese obskure Band, die aber nichts mit dem gleichnamigen Muppetsbären zu tun hat, nein „Fozzy“ kommen laut eigener Aussage aus Amerika, wurden aber von der Plattenfirma „Big Happy Mountain Rock Records“ aus Japan unter Vertrag genommen. Leider Gottes ging dieses Label pleite, und die Jungs saßen im Lande des Lächelns fest. Keine Kohle, keine Ahnung und keinen Plan, tja, aber trotzdem schafften sie es irgendwie, Songs aufzunehmen, und Demos zu produzieren, um sie außer Landes zu schmuggeln. Und diverse ihrer Kompositionen wurden sogar von den namhaften Bands der 80er gecovert, nur, das sie diese als ihre eigenen ausgaben. Tja, that´s life Nun aber mal Spaß beiseite. Bei „Fozzy“ handelt es sich um eine verdammt gelungene Metalcoverband, die auch mit guten Eigenmaterial aufwarten kann . Hinter der Band verbirgt sich Wrestling Superstar „Chris Jericho“, der hier beweist, dass er nicht nur gut ringen, sondern auch klasse singen kann. Dazu gesellen sich Andy Sneap und Rich Ward (Ex-Stuck Mojo). Was man hier von Anfang an merkt ist, dass die Jungs richtig viel Spaß an ihrer Musik haben, und dies auch in jedem gespielten Riff und jeder gesungenen Strophe feststellen kann. Die eigenen Songs klingen nach feinsten 80ern, und wirken absolut authentisch und machen dabei verdammt viel Spaß, aber auch die Coverstücke sind sehr klasse gelungen. Unter anderem wären da „Mob Rules“ von „DIO“, klasse gecovert, „Freewheel Burning“ von „Judas Priest“, dabei kann kein beinharter Priestmaniac meckern, er singt die Nummer souverän und überzeugend.
