General information Ten-Pro International - BATD Brussels 2016 Date: Week 21 from Wednesday 25th till Sunday 29th of May 2016 Location: Royal Primerose Club of Brussels An international tournament for worldwide highly talented boys and girls, born in 2004, 2005 and 2006. In order to have your players prepared for the upcoming tournament we have arranged a special training package where everyone can choose the options which suits their needs. Players can choose to join in the camp sessions, book individual sessions or rent a court to play with their BATD coaches. With these three options we will have the majority of your needs covered.

BATD train as a champion camp The camp runs on Monday 23th and Tuesday 24th of May 2016 and contains 2 full days. Players will have a full day access to the camp. The camp will be focused mainly on preparation for the tournament and will be conducted in groups of max. 4 players per court, by 1 coach per court. The practice will be run by experimented BATD coaches. The times of the Monday and Tuesday sessions are 9.30-12am, lunch break and 2-4pm followed by a stretching session. The cost for a day camp will be €80 (lunch included) and can be booked in advance via email at [email protected]. Structure of the one day camp: 09:30 – 10:00 warm-up 10:00 – 12:00 tennis, focus on technic and footwork 12:00 lunch 14:00 – 16:00 tennis, focus on game situation 16:00 – 16:30 cool down Day price : €80

Court Booking Depending on availability after all camps and tournaments activities, courts can be booked throughout the week at a cost of €10 per hour. You can book them in 30min (€5) slots to a max. of 2 hours per block in order to provide courts to everyone. Booking on the Royal Primerose Club of Brussels site.

BATD: an overview Belgian Association for Tennis Development exists since 26 years. Today 4 tennis clubs and 11 tennis schools make part of our tennis structure. A special program, Young Team, has been created for our best young players to offer them training and follow-up in competitions in Belgium and abroad. BATD also supports players who want to embrace a professional career. , Bart Wuyts, Dominique Monami, Christophe Van Garsse, Christophe and , Kirsten Flipkens, Yanina Wickmayer, Kristof Vliegen have been trained at BATD. Since 18 months a new tennis director has joined our team: Alfonso Gonzalez. Former pro tennis player, player and coach. Our new head coach restructures our clubs and schools, organizes performance tournaments. We hope to accommodate you in the future in our camps, so you get to know him and the BATD coaches’team.

Coaching Staff Alfonso Gonzalez Former pro tennis player, he was in 1984 Mexican champion and represented his country in Davis cup. He coached professional players such Dominique Monami (WTA 9). He has been sports director in several clubs in Belgium, such as Wezel, La Cure, Molenbos and Heiveld and is actually the BATD sports director. Frédéric Kohn He is a Primerose tennis player since 1984. Monitor, level 2, he teaches tennis in Primerose since 1987 and becomes in 1989 school manager and since 2008 also site manager. Thierry Meeuws Competition responsible at Primerose since 10 years, coach since 20 years and at the tennis federation since 9 years. Trains -9, -10 and -12 boys and girls and former coach from professional players such as Kristof Vliegen (ATP 30), Nancy Feber (WTA 80), Yanina Wickmayer (WTA 20), Alexandre Folie (ATP 250), Dominique Coene (ATP 250), Emilie Backet (WTA 350) and Arnaud Fontaine (ATP 300). Axel Putzeyse Former BATD Pro Team player. Best ranking B-15/2. BATD coach since 2004. Training: animator and instructor level 1. Audrey Dujardin Belgian ranking B-15-2 since 9 years. Gave first tennis lessons at the age of 14 years as a "help" for children. Teaching since 7 years at Primerose and this year in addition for the AFT. Tennis qualifications: level 1, level 2 and educational expert. Alexis Wollansky Tennis teacher since 2004 with level 1 qualification approved by AFT and actually training for level 2. Started teaching at Baudouin, switched to Lambermont and since 2007 at Primerose. He is specialized in mini tennis what consists of detecting young players and train them to bring them quickly to the competition level.
