O Lord, our God, You have called these women and men together to do the work for the people of South Carolina. Grant them grace to see and do what is helpful for each other. Give them the courage, support, and energy to sustain them in their duties. Bless our defenders of freedom and first responders. May Your face shine upon our World, Nation, President, State, Governor, Speaker, staff, and all who serve in this place. Heal the wounds, those seen and those hidden, of our brave men and women who suffer and sacrifice for our freedom. Lord, in Your Mercy, hear our prayers. Amen.
