Największą w Polsce halową imprezę hardstyle’ową rozkręci z artystami takimi jak Gunz for Hire, Sub Zero Project LIVE, Aftershock, duet D-Block i S-te-fan, Wildstylez czy w końcu weterani łączy siły na tę jedną noc we wspólnym secie: Code Black, Toneshifterz i Atmozfears. - To dopiero początek długiej listy artystów, którzy zagrają na naszej imprezie. Wszystkich postaramy się ujawnić już w przyszłym tygodniu - zapowiada Mikołaj Kruk, dyrektor artystyczny. Dat hét strandfestival anno 2007 nog steeds ongekend populair is, moge dus duidelijk zijn. Helaas was er dit jaar in tegenstelling tot voorgaande jaren regen en onweer voorspeld, in plaats van zon en hoge temperaturen. Werd het weer een beperkende factor dit jaar? Je leest het hieronder. Onze dag begon na de bijna gebruikelijke vertragingen van de NS met een flinke wandeltocht over het terrein, omdat we van de ene Lockerbox locatie naar de andere werden gestuurd, met de mededeling dat ze vol zaten. Gelukkig was er nog één locatie die nog kluisjes had, wat direct ons eerste punt van kritiek is. Van te voren was duidelijk dat het weer niet écht super zou gaan worden. Hou er dan ook rekening mee dat er NOG meer mensen zullen zijn die een kluisje willen huren. Op een gegeven moment raakte ook de laatste locatie uitverkocht en waren er nog heel wat mensen die met een beteuterd gezicht met jas én tas tevergeefs hadden staan wachten.[newpage=N-Vitral & Showtek] De ondertitel van Defqon.1 Festival 2007 was GET WASTED en om die goede raad niet in de wind te slaan besloten we te beginnen bij N-Vitral in de Silver. Wat een opening van de dag! Lompe rauwe kicks verpulverden onze trommelvliezen en lieten de toestroomde menigte helemaal uit hun dak gaan.
