Oscar fever hitting Michel Hazanavicius worldwide DEMI HEWAMANNA ith just two more days to go for the biggest night in Hollywood…all the stars that shine bright with all the glitz and glamour in the world are getting ready to face their day of truth with million viewers around the world Glenn Close Walso waiting to know who is going home with the word “BEST” imprinted in their golden statue. The questions that keep flying from one person to another are who is going to grab the Best Actor/Actress/ Picture/Animation/Director/Cinematography/Support ing Actor and Actress award at the Kodak Theatre on- February 26. For the ninth time Billy Crystal will keep the crowd going and anticipating for the moment when their Octavia Spencer names will be called out to hold the Golden Man. Some of the A list celebrities who will take the stage to give out some awards will be Tom Hanks, Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry, Tom Cruise, Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Billy Crystal Penelope Cruz, Emma Stone and the cast of “Brides maids”. - Many say that The Artist is in the lines of grabbing the Best Picture, Best Director (Michel Hazanavicius) and Best Actor (Jean Dujardin)…while Best Actress could go to Viola Davis (The Help). With cable TV been provided in almost every household people who are Oscar fans (like me) don’t have to wait for a month or so to see who won what at the Oscars. People can get the chance to watch the Oscars this Sunday on Star World at 6 am (that is if you can wake up that early and then update on Facebook as the winners are announced). But then there is always the repeat telecast for the ones who are not that crazy to wake up early on a beautiful Sunday morning. Let’s hope for the best and may the Best of the Best win deservingly.
