The Kingsmill Cannon Club Tees Up an Expanded Network To Fuel Local Business, Alliances and Partnerships

KINGSMILL RESORT, WILLIAMSBURG, VA, October xx, 2019 -- The Pure Silk Championship, the biggest event in the Commonwealth of , will run May 18- 24, 2020 at . Not only is this event a great sports experience to witness elite women golfers compete for the championship title, but also the cornerstone of a new exclusive opportunity for you—The Cannon Club—an organization fueled by a series of golf and social events throughout the year.

The Pure Silk Championship officially announced and endorsed The Cannon Club in October 2019. The driving force of the club is a passion for the game of golf, social gatherings, business networking and the experience that is the Pure Silk Championship.

Named after the iconic cannon on the site of the American Revolution on the 17th Hole of The River Course, The Cannon Club is welcoming members, advisors and supporters to contribute to the success of the Pure Silk Championship as well as the economy of the local and regional communities.

The 15th edition of the LPGA tournament will be played May 18-24, 2020 at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va. During this prestigious week-long event, women golfers from around the world will compete for a $1.3 million purse in a 72 hole tournament. The partnership allows the LPGA to continue to add to the list of past winners at Kingsmill, which includes LPGA and World Golf Hall of Famers Annika Sorenstam, Se Ri Pak and along with LPGA veteran , who has three titles to her name.
