The Hume League Trainers Association has been active for 26 years and I am sure that the HLTA will continue to be a very strong and necessary part of the League in the future. FOURTHS In the last 3 years the HLTA have doubled the number of qualified trainers to over 60 members servicing both AFL and Netball from the junior to senior players, we have an average of over 4 trainers per team. A list of all members and their qualifications are kept by the association and trainers must have current qualifications in CPR, Senior First R/W Tigers v Howlong Aid and Level 1 Sports Trainer to be fully accredited members of the HLTA. HLTA run accreditation courses through the Sports Medicine Australia and Healthfocus Albury Mlodonga, whenever they are required. Lindsay after serving an apprenticeship as Secretary of Daysdale for eight years and President for one The C.D.F.L. was officially formed 24th April, 1909, at a meeting held at the Buraja Hotel. The foundation became C.D.F.L secretary for 32 years, a total of Clubs were Coreen, Buraja, Ringwood, Redlands and Shannonvale. The inaugural President was Mr T. Forge, 40 in admin. The Hume Netball Association has had another busy, but successful season in 2009 with four out of the six competition grades finishing very close on the ladders and their final six were not decided until the end of round 18. We also had Hume Netball Association Inc. 12 out of 14 clubs represented in finals so that is fantastic for the netball crowds too. Special thanks to Lee Shipard Vote Count 2009 Club Championship 2009 from Albury for organising our umpires for the Finals again this year. We have a good number of National C Badged umpires within our league now and quite a few of them have umpired through the finals over the last few weeks, so A GRADE MURRAY MAGPIES (203) (24) thank you to all these ladies for their efforts.
