THE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, ) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT No. 10) ORDER 2014

The Council of the County of Kent in exercise of their powers under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1) and (2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby make the following Order:-

A - This Order may be cited as the Kent County Council (Various Roads, Borough of Swale) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Amendment 10 Order 2014 and shall come into force on the 4 th day of July, 2014.

B. the Kent County Council (Various Roads, Borough of Swale) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2010 shall have effect as though -

In the Schedules to the Order

East Street,

The following shall be inserted in Part B [Prohibitions and Restrictions on the waiting of vehicles or the loading and unloading of vehicles} in place of the existing entry:-

PROHIBITION ON LOADING AND UNLOADING

1 (1) Nothing in Article 33 (Exemption for loading and unloading of goods) shall apply so as to render it lawful to cause or permit a vehicle to wait for the purposes of loading or unloading in any of the lengths of restricted road described in columns 2 and 3 of an item in the Table on the days and times specified in the corresponding column 4.

Selby Court,

St John’s Avenue

The following shall be inserted in Schedule [no waiting at any time] in place of the existing entry:
