Nous avons eu du flair dans les derniers numéros de Ping magazine en mettant en avant le renouveau de nos joueuses, plus particulièrement Nathalie Marchetti car c'est un véritable exploit qu'a accompli Nathalie. Un premier titre de championne de Belgique, si jeune, ne peut que lui donner des ailes. La performance de Gabriella Vinci est également à saluer. J'imagine la satisfaction de Cédric Mahy, qui s'est occupé de Gabriella pendant son passage au sport-études de la Province de Liège et qui maintenant encadre Nathalie. Côté masculin, que puis-je dire? Que peut-on dire qui n'ait jamais été dit? Les records sont fait pour être battus! Mouais! Je veux bien mais qui va battre celui-là? À part un petit homme vert, je ne vois pas bien qui va le battre! Chapeau bas! Le plus grand enseignement de ce championnat, c'est l'écart très petit entre les différents joueurs. Robin Devos éliminé par Ludo Bierny, Benjamin Rogiers par Florent Lambiet, Julien Indeherberg battu par Yannick Maes en poule, Cedric Nuytinck qui sauve une balle de match contre Robin Saudemont en huitièmes.
