The Huskies dominated the Marauders (0-6, 0-5) in every statistical category, finishing with a 446-175 edge in total yardage. Bloomsburg racked up 258 yards on the ground and 188 through the air, but the defense was again the star.

Bloomsburg scored its first shutout win since a 21-0 victory at Shippensburg on Oct. 25, 2008 by limiting Millersville to just nine first downs while forcing five turnovers – four interceptions and one fumble recovery.

Tim Kelly completed nine-of-16 pass attempts for 155 yards, one score and an interception while also rushing for a career-high 97 yards. Eddie Mateo had 64 yards on the ground with three touchdowns while Altarique Mosley-Dew had nine rushed for 44 yards. D.J. McFadden had three catches for 37 yards while Daniels caught two balls for a game-high 46 yards. Garrett Pope made a career-high eight tackles to go along with an interception and a forced fumble.

MILLERSVILLE BLOOMSBURG FOOTBALL GAME NOTES @GOBUHUSKIES • #UNLEASHED Paul Darragh HEAD COACH • THIRD SEASON Paul Darragh was named head coach of Bloomsburg University on Dec. 6, 2013 after being ap- pointed as interim head coach in February 2013. Overall he will be starting his 19th season with the Huskies in 2015 and third as head coach.

The first two seasons of the Darragh Era will go down as two of the strongest in Huskies history. Darragh has posted a 21-4 overall record, back-to-back PSAC East titles, two NCAA Playoff berths and an overall PSAC Championship while being named PSAC East Coach of the Year in both 2013 and 2014. He also became the fastest Huskies head coach to reach 20 victories.

The 2014 edition of the Huskies won their first 10 games on the way to an 11-2 record, again clinching the PSAC East crown and the No. 2 seed in the Super Region One Playoff bracket. Bloomsburg then reached the Regional Championship Game with a second round playoff win over Virginia State to remain as one of the final eight teams in the nation left playing. Darragh guided a team that excelled on both sides of the ball - the offense recorded over 220 yards of rushing and nearly 34 points per game. Defensively, Bloomsburg ranked first in the PSAC and sixth in the na- tion in scoring defense while surrendering just 15.4 points per game. The Huskies also led Division II in turnovers generated, recording a school record 43 and led the country in turnover margin The Darragh File at +30. A PSAC-best 14 players were named All-Conference following the year including senior Alma Mater: Temple (‘85, ‘89) middle linebacker Justin Shirk who earned PSAC East and Daktronics Super Region One Defensive Player of the Year honors. College Coaching Experience During the 2013 season Darragh led the Huskies to a 10-2 record, a PSAC championship and a Bloomsburg Head Coach berth in the NCAA Playoffs as part of the best season for any first-year head coach in Bloomsburg Bloomsburg Defensive Coordinator history. He was named the PSAC Eastern Division Coach of the Year. The Huskies took home nu- Indiana (PA) Linebackers merous awards following the season including having four All-Americans and the 2013 Harlon Hill William Patterson Def. Coordinator Award winner in running back Franklyn Quiteh. Darragh also coached All-American defensive Gannon Defensive Coordinator end Larry Webster who was selected in the fourth round of the NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions as Gannon Linebackers well as offensive lineman Matt Feiler who was signed to the practice squad of the Houston Texans. Northeastern Linebackers Temple Graduate Assistant Darragh previously served as the Huskies’ defensive coordinator for 16 years under legendary head coach Danny Hale. Under Darragh’s leadership the Huskies’ defense has ranked in the top-half of the PSAC in total defense seven of his last 11 seasons in the role, including back-to-back second place finishes in 2000 and 2001 and a second place in 2009. The Huskies have also ranked among the best in the PSAC in run defense finishing first or second five times, including second in two of the last four seasons.

The 2009 Huskies finished third nationally in scoring defense (13.36/game), pacing the PSAC. BU also led the conference in sacks, ranking 14th nationally (3.09 per game). In 2010 the Huskies were eighth in Division II in rushing defense (85.38 yards per game). Overall under Darragh’s leader- ship, the Bloomsburg defense finished in the top-15 in NCAA Division II six times since the 2000 season.
