BACKGROUND Fc receptorlike 4 (FCRL4), also known as FcRH4 and IRTA1, is an Ig superfamily transmembrane protein that shares sequence homology with the classical Fc receptors. FCRL4 is preferentially expressed in B cells and contains three potential ITIM motifs in its cytoplasmic domain. The gene for FCRL4 is localized to the human chromosome 1q2123 region, a hotspot for translocation events. Rev. 2/6/2018 Page 1 of 1 .
