Fox Sports Gives Thanks for College Football Rivalries FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Monday, Nov. 17, 2014 FOX SPORTS GIVES THANKS FOR COLLEGE FOOTBALL RIVALRIES FOX & FOX Sports 1 Present Three Straight Days of Intense Competition Over Thanksgiving Weekend New York – FOX Sports serves up a feast of college football rivalries over Thanksgiving weekend, featuring several teams looking to secure conference championships and College Football Playoff spots. Action begins Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27, as No. 5 TCU travels to Austin to face Texas at 7:30 PM ET on FOX Sports 1. The Horned Frogs are in the hunt for their first ever Big 12 championship and hope to hold on to a spot in the College Football Playoff, where the selection committee most recently ranked them fourth. On Friday, Nov. 28, the “Duel in the Desert” comes to the FOX broadcast network, as No. 15 Arizona hosts No. 13 Arizona State in a key battle for the Pac- 12 South. Over on FOX Sports 1, Marshall is currently one of two undefeated teams in the Football Bowl Subdivision, and looks to stay perfect against WKU (12:00 PM ET). A full day of college football is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 29, including a FOX Sports 1 tripleheader beginning at 12:00 PM ET with West Virginia at Iowa State. Kansas and No. 12 K-State face off in the Sunflower Showdown at 4:00 PM ET, followed by the Apple Cup between Washington and Washington State at 10:00 PM ET. One of two great rivalries hits the broadcast airwaves that afternoon, as FOX televises either the Civil War between No. 3 Oregon and Oregon State, or Notre Dame at USC at 3:30 PM ET. Baylor Looks To Keep Playoff Hopes Alive on FOX Stanford-Cal Tabbed for FOX Sports 1 This Saturday, FOX Sports presents more key Big 12 and Pac-12 matchups, including Oklahoma State at No. 6 Baylor. Kicking off at 7:30 PM ET on the FOX broadcast network, the Bears are in the hunt for a Big 12 title and are looking to show the College Football Playoff selection committee that they are one of the top four teams in the nation. Gus Johnson, Charles Davis and Molly McGrath have the call from McLane Stadium. Leading up to kickoff, FOX COLLEGE FOOTBALL PREGAME begins at 6:30 PM ET, recapping top games from around the country. Rob Stone hosts alongside analysts Joel Klatt and Dave Wannstedt. A full weekend of exciting football begins Thursday, Nov. 20, with another important Big 12 showdown, as West Virginia hosts No. 12 K-State (7:00 PM ET) on FOX Sports 1. The Wildcats still have their sights set on a conference championship, but the Mountaineers, who handed Baylor its only loss earlier this season, have an upset on their minds. Tim Brando, Joel Klatt and Jenny Taft are live from Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown. On FOX Sports 1 on Saturday, Nov. 22, No. 23 Oklahoma hosts Kansas at 12:00 PM ET, while Cal welcomes Stanford for a 4:00 PM ET kick. Stanford-Cal also airs in Spanish on FOX Deportes. FOX Sports 1 is under the lights on Friday night, Nov. 21, for a Conference USA showdown between UTEP and Rice at 8:00 PM ET.
