Indiana University’s Biotechnology & Research Training Center (BRTC)

Located in 16 Tech, the BRTC is a modern 83,000 sf research facility for Cellular Imaging, DNA Sequencing, Proteomics, Gene Expression, Protein Expression, Flow Cytometry and BioInformatics.

To accelerate the growth of a commercial district focused on high technology businesses and translational research that complements the adjacent academic, medical research and clinical practice concentrations and provides a setting where residents can live, work, play and learn in downtown near 900-acres of parkland and a nexus of innovation & research. Objectives

• Attract research, contract service providers and hi-tech companies to downtown Indianapolis. • Primary Sectors: Biotech, Health IT, Motorsports • Secondary Sectors: Information Technology, Clean Energy
