4 Nights 5 Days Exclusive Tour ‘Sunderban Tiger Camp’ is an escapade in the lap of nature. Located at Dayapur, an island village in Sundarban, it’s a blissful world that shields you from your television, newspapers, Internet or (sometimes) telephone.

We make a conscious effort to take our guests out of their cottages and allow them to experience the beauty of Dayapur Island that’s home to salt water crocodiles and a variety of exotic birds and of course, the Sundarban National Park, a world heritage site and biosphere reserve that promises a rare sighting of the elusive ‘Royal Bengal Tiger’. ROUTE MAP Day 1 Kolkata to Sunderban Tiger Camp

Morning

• Pick up from the preferred location mentioned by the guest (Hotel/Airport/Railway Station). • Travel by boat to Waxpol Ghat, from where guests will be escorted to the Sunderban Tiger Camp. • Optional Stopover at ‘Gosaba’, one of the earliest human settlements in the Sundarbans. • Check-in followed by lunch at Fisherman’s Wharf restaurant.

Afternoon

• Depart for a visit to the ‘Jatirampur’, which is a well-known spot for observing nesting of birds at Sunderbans.

• Around sunset, return to the resort for hi-tea and snacks. • Sit around the bonfire (winters only) and view the Adibasi dance, a performance by aboriginal natives of Sundarbans. • Dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf restaurant. • Guests can relax at the Gol Ghar bar or call it a night.

Day 2

Morning

• Embark on the morning boat safari to Dobanke Watch Tower. Breakfast will be served on the boat.

Afternoon

• Return to the resort by Lunch. • Depart for a visit to the ‘Adibasi village’ at Dayapur Island. Guest can walk through this village to observe and get a sense of their lifestyle, local crafts, cuisines, and marvel as how local villagers and tigers coexist in a difficult terrain.

Evening

• Around sunset, return to the resort for hi-tea and snacks. • Watch a Wildlife movie. • Dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf restaurant. • Guests can relax at the Gol Ghar bar or call it a night.

Day 3

Morning & Afternoon

• Enjoy a delicious breakfast at Fisherman’s Wharf restaurant. • Embark on the morning boat safari to Netidhopani Watch Tower, which is located deep inside the Sundarban Tiger Reserve. It houses a 300-year-old temple of ‘Bono Bibi,’ considered the Forest Goddess and worshipped by all the villagers. • Hot lunch is served on the boat during the return journey to the resort.

Evening

• In the evening, an invitation to the local rural theatre (Bonobibi Yatra) performed by the villagers in their native language ‘Bengali.’ • Dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf restaurant. • Guests can relax at the Gol Ghar bar or call it a night.

Day 4

Morning & Afternoon

• Depart for one of the most intriguing parts of the park from the indian side towards the Bangladesh side of Indian Sunderban to Buridabari Watch Tower. • Breakfast, Lunch & Hi Tea will be served on board the cruiser.

Evening

• Dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf restaurant. • Guests can relax at the Gol Ghar bar or call it a night.

Morning

• Embark on the morning boat safari to Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower. Breakfast will be served on the boat. • Return to the resort before noon. Enjoy an early lunch and depart for Kolkata. You will be transferred to your preferred drop-off point (Hotel/Airport/Railway station).

Intended stay has to be booked by a written document (viz. e mail or fax) well in advance, which shall be confirmed subject to availability. Confirmed stay email will be sent on receipt of complete payment. All extra facilities and services utilized will have to be settled directly at the resort through cash. Please note the Checkout time is 11 am and Check in time is 2 pm. All Guests must abide by the rules and regulations of the resort. The rates indicated are on room basis inclusive of meals, transfer and cruise charges. Rates vary for exclusive booking of trips with private transfers, visits to different watch towers, addition of extra activities and cruise, etc. Rates are Subject to change without prior notice.

Guarantee Policy 100% advance. A cash deposit must guarantee all confirmed reservations. We reserve the right to release non-guaranteed reservations.

Child Policy -Children of 6 years of age and above are considered as Adults. -Children 0-05 years are Complimentary without extra bed and fixed meals as per resort menu (sharing bed and seats during transfers and safari with parents). No snacks packed will be provided during bus journey. -Extra Bed charges will apply (if requested for).

Private Cruise Boat Hiring Charges for River Cruise and Mangrove Safaris Sunderbans being a network of creeks and rivers, one has to travel by boat and not with jeep unlike other national parks in India. We have collaboration with the locals from where one can hire local boats certified by us for cruising meeting STC standards.

Exclusive local boat for upto 12 Pax: Rs.8000/- per day for Indian and Foreign Nationals (excluding December and January- Cost Rs. 8000/- per day). Exclusive local boat for 13 Pax - 20 Pax: Rs. 8000/- per day Indian and Foreign Nationals (excluding December and January- Cost Rs. 8500/- per day). You can use the same boat for your pick-up/drop ex Gothkhali.

Cancellation Policy -Cancellation made by 25 days or ahead will be charged 50% retention. Cancellation made after that will attract 100% retention (no refund). -No refund is applicable for no show. -No refund for unused nights or early checkout. -No refund for cancellation on booking from 15 December’18 - 15 January’19. -In case the guest has an International bank account, and then any bank charges applicable are to be borne by the customer. We will remit the amount as per our cancellation policy.

Forest Department Charges (Please inform our manager which camera you are carrying for the current fees structure, this has to be paid on Day 1 itself) -For Current Safari, Entry Charges send us an email and we will revert back. -Foreigners and Indian Tourist Entry Fees for entry into the Park are extra and vary for different areas of the National Park. -Camera Fees are applicable for Still Camera, Video Camera and Professional Movie Camera. -Forest Department Charges may change from time to time.
