Weather

The climate in Bremen is generally very humid. In autumn, the temperatures normally vary between 10ºC and 20ºC, or even less in the evening. The probability of rainfall is very high and a windy day can occur at that time of the year as well. Therefore we recommend you to bring something to pull over in case you should feel cold and a rain coat or a little umbrella to cover from rainfall. You won’t need heavy waterproof boots or anything similar, just solid normal shoes. Arriving to Bremen via If you are travelling via Hamburg, the best way to reach Bremen is by train. At the airport in Hamburg look for signs indicating “S-Bahn”, which is the train connecting to the city. The ticket costs 3, 60 EURO one way and you can buy it at the ticket vending machine just before entering the platform. Jump into the S1 direction “Wedel”. You will have to get off at “/ Central Station”. Once there, look for (normally) platform 13 or 14 for either the train RE4 or RE41 direction Bremen. They are double-decker yellow and blue trains. The ticket costs around 20 EURO (also to buy at ticket vending machines at the station) one way. When you arrive at Bremen Central Station follow the instructions below, depending where you are heading to. Arriving to Bremen via Hannover Once landed, head to the train station of the airport and travel with the “S5” direction to “Paderborn HBF” and aboard at Hannover Central Station. There you have several economical options to go by train to Bremen: either RE2 or depending on the hour you arrive, RE4420 or RE4422. Get off at Bremen Hauptbahnhof / Central Station and follow the instructions below, depending on which hostel you are heading to.

If you are arriving by car, independently where you go to, the most probable thing is that you have some gadget with navigation features with you, so it will be enough just to enter the address of the hostel you are looking for, which you will find on the next pages :)
