Day 1 Arrival Arrival at Entebbe Airport where you will be welcomed and transferred to your accommodation in Entebbe. Overnight at The Boma (B&B). ** Airport transfer arranged by your guesthouse. **

The Boma This welcoming guesthouse is situated on the outskirts of Entebbe and only 5 minutes from Entebbe Airport. It is a tastefully restored colonial homestead consisting of comfortable bedrooms. Each of them is decorated along African themes and has their own private bathroom. A diners’ bar is set in a landscaped garden with lake views. The main house includes a private dining veranda and living room for overnight guests.

Day 2 Entebbe – National Park Early in the morning drop off at Entebbe International Airport for a domestic flight towards one of the most beautiful protected area in Uganda: Murchison Falls National Park. Your plane is scheduled to depart at 08.30 hr and expected arrival time is 10.10 hr at Airstrip. From here you will be transferred through the park to your accommodation for check in at your accommodation. Enjoy lunch from the terrace with magnificent views of the river and relax before going on a game drive for a first introduction with Uganda’s flora and fauna. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge. (B-L-D)

Paraa Safari Lodge Paraa Safari Lodge is located in an elevated position on the northern side of the river Nile, enjoying astounding views. Set in a small area of landscaped gardens, the lodge offers comfortable rooms with en- suite bathroom and private balconies. Moreover, it features a swimming pool, pool bar and restaurant with local and international cuisine.

Day 3 Murchison Falls National Park After an early breakfast we start the day with a game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, with chances of seeing giraffes, elephants, lions, hartebeest and different species of birds. In the afternoon the safari will be continued with a boat cruise on the river Nile for game viewing at close quarters. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge. (B-L-D)

Day 4 Murchison Falls National Park – Entebbe – Kibale Forest National Park Today you can enjoy a relaxed breakfast before being transferred back to Pakuba Airstrip. Depart at 10.30 hr on a scheduled flight back to Entebbe from where you directly continue towards the western part of the country, arriving at 14.35 hr at Kasese Airstrip. Here you will be welcomed by a Great Lakes Safaris representative for the final transfer (approximately 2 hours) to your accommodation in the middle of the tropical rainforest of Kibale. Dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale safari tents. (B-L-D)

Primate Lodge Kibale The luxury safari tents of Primate Lodge Kibale are raised on a wooden platform overlooking the forest and its primates. Each of them is tastefully decorated in African style, with comfortable twin beds, large windows and en-suite bathroom. The main lodge has a spacious dining room, serving local and international meals, with an adjacent bar and open lounge area.

Day 5 Kibale Forest & Bigodi Swamp The forest opens its doors for a sensational chimp tracking! Kibale Forest is reputable of having the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. Enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzee, red-tailed monkey, black-and- white colobus monkey and many others. After lunch we transfer to the Bigodi Swamp which is initiated through the local community and is famous for the many species of birds and primates. Day 6 Kibale Forest National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park After breakfast we calmly drive towards the south while we pass the crater lakes area, a beautiful landscape with small lakes and rolling hills. From here we continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a game drive upon arrival. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge. (B-L-D)

Mweya Safari Lodge Mweya Safari Lodge has a prime location with views over the Kazinga Channel. The lodge is located on a peninsula within the spectacular national park. All rooms have balconies, overlooking the Kazinga Channel and Lake Edward, private bathrooms and electricity. Other features include a beautiful swimming pool, a poolside bar, safari bar, souvenir shop and restaurant serving global cuisine.

Day 7 Queen Elizabeth National Park The day begins early when we start with a morning game drive and head to the mating ground of the Uganda Kobs. We search for lions, elephants, buffaloes and other wild animals in their natural habitat before returning for lunch. In the afternoon we take on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. Thanks to the abundant birdlife that is sighted, and the elephants, buffaloes and hundreds of hippos that are cooling off at the shores, this cruise will definitely be one of the highlights of your safari. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge. (B-L-D)

Day 8 Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Forest National Park After a calm breakfast transfer to Kasese Airstrip. Say goodbye to your Great Lakes Safaris representative and board on the scheduled flight departing at 10.05 hr for a flight of approximately 30 minutes to Kihihi Airstrip. From here you will be transferred by road (1 hour) to the home of the endangered mountain gorillas. Check in at the lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to relax and prepare yourself for the next day. Or go for a (guided) forest walk for a first introduction with Uganda’s unique flora and fauna. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs. (B-L-D)

Mahogany Springs Mahogany Springs is the newest lodge in Bwindi National Park. Located at a 2 minutes drive from the headquarters, it offers 7 luxury bandas with 2 double beds, en-suite bathroom and a private terrace with panoramic views of the forest and surrounding land. The main building includes a craft shop, large bar area, relaxing lounge area with fireplace, restaurant and a large veranda.

Day 9 Gorilla tracking The highlight of your safari: a meeting with the gentle giants of Bwindi! Expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. But it will definitely be worthwhile as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest. A unique and unforgettable experience! Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs. (B- L-D)

Day 10 Bwindi National Park – Entebbe – Departure Enjoy the final moments in the magical surroundings of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest before being transferred to Kihihi Airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe. You have the opportunity to depart at 10.55 hr or take the second flight of 14.05 hr, arriving at Entebbe International Airport at 11.55 hr and 15.55 hr respectively. Choose the most suitable time so you are ensured of a convenient connection of your international flight! (B)
