With 2019 marking 100 years since construction commenced on the Great Ocean Road, this is an opportunity to see the road from an engineering perspective and learn more about its history, maintenance, and what lies ahead for one of Australia’s most significant tourist attractions.

Guests will also enjoy a guided walking tour of the Budj Bim National Heritage Landscape, where the Budj Bim eel traps have become the first Australian UNESCO World Heritage site to be listed exclusively for its Aboriginal cultural values after a decades-long campaign by the Gunditjmara people.

Other highlights include a sit down lunch with stunning views from The Wye River Hotel and a presentation on the Geotechnical Project at Paddy’s Path, as well as a Leadership Dinner featuring keynote speaker Deakin University Professor Aman Maung Than Oo at the Lady Bay Resort in Warrnambool – where guests will also enjoy an overnight stay.
