COOLAMON SHIRE COUNCIL
STAFF UNIFORM POLICY
OBJECTIVE
1) To encourage the wearing of apparel to promote the image of the Coolamon Shire Council.
2) To provide Staff with the opportunity to purchase suitably identified work clothes at a subsidised cost.
ELIGIBILITY
This policy applies is limited to the following:
1) Administration Staff,
2) Engineering Staff,
3) Health & Building Staff,
4) Coolamon Early Childhood Centre Staff, and
5) Library Staff.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Council agrees to subsidise the cost of Staff uniforms subject to the following:
1) All uniforms purchased shall have the accepted Coolamon Shire Council logo embroidered on the garment.
2)
The amount of Council subsidy shall be:-
i) one third of the cost of the uniform per person to a maximum of $200.00 per financial year for Administration, Engineering and Health and Building and Library Staff, and
ii) one half of the cost of the uniform per person to a maximum of $150.00 per financial year for Coolamon Early Childhood Centre Staff, and
iii) In order to retain their subsidy, staff must pay their invoiced amount within 30 days of issue or have entered into an appropriate agreement for payment by instalments (Payroll Deduction or Direct Debit)
ADMINISTRATION
This policy shall be administered under the direction of the Executive Manager, Corporate & Community Services.
REVIEW
This policy may be reviewed at any time or as required in the event of legislative changes. Unless otherwise required, the policy will be reviewed at least once during a term of Council.
