Team Manager: Serves as a liaison between the youth coordinator, coaches and parents. Assists in coordinating game day volunteers. Helps with fundraising and spirit wear orders. Helps facilitate communication between parents, team photographer, coaches and the youth coordinator.

Field Set Up & Take Down: Responsible for ensuring that the field is prepared for every home game. Thisincludes setting up cones, scorer’s tent & table and helping with the placement and removal of goals on game day.

Stats Keeper: Each club is responsible for providing a score/stats keeper at each home and away game. Responsibilities include documenting goals, assists, loose balls and penalties. Score/stats keepers need to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the beginning of the game. Training will be provided for new score/stats keepers prior to the first game of the season.

Time Keeper: Every home game the hosting club provides someone to keep time for each game. Most games run close to one hour long. Timekeepers need to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the beginning of the game. It is important for several parents to participate in this position so everyone can enjoy watching their players play. Training will be provided for new timekeepers prior to the first game of the season.

Spotters: A spotter is needed at each home and away game to assist the score/stats keeper keep track of goals, shots, assists, ground balls, face off wins, etc. Spotters need to arrive 20 minutes prior to the beginning of the game. Training will be provided for new spotters prior to the first game of the season.

Sideline Manager: Each home and away game the club must provide a sideline manager (who will be clearly identified) to monitor the game and our team’s spectator sidelines to ensure sportsmanship and safety are adhered to by SVFL spectators. Sideline managers will need to arrive 20 minutes ahead of the scheduled start time of the game in order to introduce themselves to the officials, and welcome the opposing team.

Game Ball Monitor: A game ball monitor in needed at each home game to ensure that there are the designated number of game balls at the end line at the start of the game and reset between each quarter.

Practice Day Help: Available before, during and/or after practices as needed to assist in collecting and handing out of various paperwork and items, sorting coffee and spirit wear, etc.

SVFLC Mission: Promote the sport of lacrosse for the youth in Skagit Valley in order to develop their playing skills, to teach and encourage good sportsmanship, and to foster healthy competition.
