Sheffield Cancer Research Centre Newsletter Issue 7 – December 2013 Title – ‘The Enemy Within’ proves a big success An audience of around 300 gathered in the University student’s union for a screening of ‘The Enemy Within’, a new film looking back over the last 50 years of the battle against cancer. The screening was followed by a question and answer session with a panel of the Centre’s leading cancer researchers. A drinks reception rounded off the evening.

Centre Director Professor Rob Coleman hosted the evening and was delighted with the event. “It was wonderful to see such a big audience and the film really lived-up to expectations – a thorough and thought-provoking history of the work we are involved in. Events like this are so important in involving the public in our work and I hope that everyone who attended found it an interesting and enlightening evening”.
