TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR AUCTION PARTICIPANTS

·  All auction participants will receive 80% of the sale price. To defray costs, 20% of the gross proceeds will be withheld to cover the costs of administering the auction, including auctioneer commission, advertising, insurance and other administrative costs.

·  CapCOG and/or auctioneer cannot guarantee the sale of any item. A reserve (reasonable minimum acceptable price) may only be placed on the sale of vehicles. NOTE- Reserve Bids must be realistic and cannot exceed wholesale book price

·  Friday, May 27, 2016 – Return participation forms. When completing the forms describing your auction items, please be as detailed as possible and include photos in jpg format of any/all items and vehicles to be uploaded to the auction website.

·  Tuesday, July 19 - All auction participants will be responsible for delivery of merchandise to the Sporting Hill Elementary School between 8 am and 2 pm. A forklift and operator will be available for unloading. Check in with staff upon arrival prior to unloading. After items including vehicles are delivered, they may not be removed.

·  Vehicles - The original title or a photocopy of each title must be provided and a set of keys for each vehicle when delivering the vehicle(s) to the auction site. Remove all decals from vehicles prior to submitting pictures.

·  Wednesday, July 20 - All auction participants must provide a representative the day of the Auction. The individual is expected to answer questions regarding the condition of the items being bid. Original titles must be available on the day of auction. A notary will be provided at the auction site. Participants not providing actual titles must have an individual present for title transfer by 12:30 pm.

·  Thursday, July 21 - All auction participants are responsible for the disposal of unsold items following the auction. These items must be removed by noon. Any remaining items will subject the participant to trash removal fees and penalties.

·  Proceeds from the Auction - CapCOG will make payment to each participant less the 20% based on items sold as soon as possible following processing of funds and records from the auction. Checks will be delivered via United States Postal Service. Itemized records of the auction will be included with your proceeds.

2016 CapCOG Auction Items Form VEHICLES
·  You must complete a 2016 CapCOG Auction form for each vehicle to be brought to the auction. Tape the completed form on the driver’s side window. Assign each vehicle a number ie: vehicle# 1, vehicle#2, etc, and maintain a record of each at your office. Indicate the same number on the title or photocopy and the keys. This will simplify the job of matching the title with vehicle.
·  Remove all decals from the vehicle prior to taking pictures.
·  Photo of vehicles - please email digital jpg photos of your vehicles to be uploaded to the auction website
·  Provide original or copy of the title and a set of vehicle keys properly marked with the same number on each. ie: title # 1 – keys for vehicle #1
·  Form (s) must be returned to CapCOG office by May 27, 2016.
