Subject: Corrected: NWS Geospatial Web Services available on new
a server effective January 20, 2016, to support transition
scheduled for completion on April 14, 2016
Due to extreme display technical difficulties, one of the services,
the natl_fcst_wx_chart, will NOT be available on the effective date
of the original announcement below. Efforts will be made to add the
service back into the mix when the next set of services are implemented
in the spring of 2016.
Effective January 20, 2016, NWS will provide its Geospatial Web
Services on a new server at the following url:
http://idpgis.ncep.noaa.gov
The new server will provide the data currently available at:
http://gis.srh.noaa.gov/arcgis/rest/services
although the service names will change.
The legacy (SRH) service and IDP service names are:
