RULES & REGULATIONS:
Age category events will be exclusively for students & played in two categories: i) Up-to Under-12 & ii) Above-12 &
Up-to Under-18. Student up-to class XII only will be eligible for these categories & entries should come through their
respective schools/colleges mentioning their date of birth and class of study.
Entry Fee: Entry Forms along with Entry Fee of Rs. 1800/- (Rs1.250/- in case of students up-to age of 18,1500.00 U.P CHESS PLYERS ) payable
by Demand Draft in favour of “SAHARANPUR DISST CHESS ASSOCIATION” payable at SAHARANPUR, should be submitted to RAJNISH GOEL, INDICA MEDICO PANSARI BAZAR SHARANPUR 247001- U.P, INDIA

players details should be emailed to RAJNISH GOEL on email: eteran players (Over 60
years age), players from North Eastern States and physically challenged will be entitled for 50% discount in entry fee.
Last Date of Entry: Entry should be sent on or before30-11- 2014. However, Entry will be accepted up-to 11.00
a.m. on 16.12.2014 with a late fee of Rs. 500/-. Entry will be accepted

- Accommodation: Free dormitory accommodation will be provided only to all outstation participants
Accompanying persons will have to bear their own expenses.
Girls / women will be provided separate accommodation. Players are requested to keep their own lock & key.
Chess Clocks: Players are requested to bring their own Chess Clocks.
Tournament Rules: Tournament will be conducted in 08 Round Swiss League System as per International Chess
Rules known as FIDE Laws of Chess.
Tie Break: In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall apply.
Important Instructions:
(i) Use of electronic devices inside the tournament hall is strictly prohibited. Mobiles, even in switch off mode,
will not be allowed inside the tournament hall and players found violating this instruction will loose their point.
(ii) Use of Alcohol, Cigarette, Pan Masala / Gutka, Gambling, etc. inside the Venue and Place of Accommodation
are strictly prohibited and will tantamount to indiscipline.
