The conference will focus on how Boards and Executive Leadership impact organizational success in the area of safety culture and safety practices and what Boards and Executive Leadership can do to address those organizational failures. Public Workshop Notice: Renewable Net Short Calculation (R.11-05-005)

This workshop is part of the Commission’s RPS proceeding (R.11-05-005)as directed in Assigned Commissioner's Ruling Identifying issues and Schedule of Review for 2012 Renewables PortfolioStandard Procurement Plans Pursuant to Public Utilities Code Sections 399.11 et seq. and Requesting Comments on New Proposals (April 5, 2012). Commission staff will be developing a standard methodology for calculating the renewable net short position for regulated utilities. The net short is defined as the amount of new renewable generation necessary for regulated utilities to meet or exceed the renewable target. A Revised Draft Resolution L-436 will be circulated on July 6, 2012 and comments will be due on July18, 2012 and will be posted on the Commission’s internet site.
Draft Resolution L-436 will be taken off the agenda for the May 24, 2012 Commission business meeting, and will be placed on the agenda for the Commission Agenda meeting on August 2, 2012.
