ð FLX1130 Standard Beginners (little or no previous experience of the language)
ð FLX1230 Fast-Track Beginners (suitable for re-starters and/or students with a successful track record of learning an/other modern foreign language/s)
I can deal with general everyday situations with reasonable confidence, e.g. making travel arrangements or finding my way around. I have a basic understanding of present, past and future tenses and can express simple opinions and get by in simple everyday situations.
ð FLX 2230 Intermediate One (recent pass at GCSE Grade A-B or equivalent)
ð FLX2430 Intermediate Fast-Track (recent pass at GCSE Grade A* or A or equivalent. You may have studied or speak a related foreign language)
I can follow or give a talk on a familiar topic or keep up a conversation on a fairly wide range of topics. I can use different basic tenses, but still make mistakes.
ð FLX 2330 Intermediate Two (AS level Grade A-B or A level Grade C or below or equivalent)
I can use the language in a wide range of situations and can keep up a casual conversation with a good degree of fluency. I can explain a viewpoint on a topical issue, giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

I can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. I can produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects
